To Build a Peaceful Life

If there is some unnatural, unwanted growth on or inside the body -
it needs to be taken care of.
A surgeon must cut open and remove an ulcer to heal the body.

To restore a building, we must tear down some old crumbling parts of the old building -
and replace them with new contemporary designs.

A tree must let go of the old dying leaves -
and grow new ones in the spring.

Similarly, to build a new happy, satisfying, and peaceful life -
we must tear down the old obsolete concepts and replace them with new fresh ideas.
New ideas - that are useful, beneficial, and practical.
Any ideology which is not practical in today's world - or can not be applied in day-to-day life, can not help us in any way.
Neither individually nor collectively as a society.

Some ideologies and precepts may have worked in the past.
But with changing times - a change of the old, narrow, and useless ideas is also required to attain a balanced life.
