Sach kay darvaazay par dastak सच के दरवाज़े पे दस्तक

I have been asked to interpret and explain this couplet from Vishal Khullar's Ghazal that I posted earlier today.

 

                           सच के दरवाज़े पे दस्तक देता रहता हूँ 

                          आग की लपटें ओढ़े रहना अच्छा लगता है

                    Sach kay darvaazay par dastak detaa rehtaa hoon 

                   Aag kee lapten odhay rehnaa achhaa lagtaa hai 

Here is my interpretation -:

The author says that I keep knocking at the door of the truth - 

Meaning I keep exploring and searching for the truth behind everything. 

It is like playing with fire - 

Because the leaders, rulers, authorities, and superiors do not want the truth to be known. 

Revealing - unveiling the truth is like wrapping, encasing yourself in the flames of fire --- (yet) I like doing it.    

The media delivers what serves their own interests.

The media tries to present everything according to its own views and intention - which benefits them.

We must try to know the truth on our own - regardless of how hard it might be.
