बरपा किए वो दौरे ज़माने तग़य्युरात 

गाड़ी नई  थी जिसका खटारा बना दिया 

छोड़ा नहीं किसी को भी यलग़ार-ए-वक़्त ने 

आख़िर खजूर को भी छुआरा बना दिया

               English Translation:

The ravages of time have wrought such changes and havoc 

A brand-new vehicle, now reduced to a wreck.

Time's relentless onslaught has spared no one;

In the end, even the fresh date was turned into a Chhuaara 

  (old and dried, dehydrated, wrinkled dates are called Chhuaara)

The above episode was sent to me by a friend as a joke. 
However, when you think about it - many times, our worries, anxieties, and miseries are also based upon mere imaginations. 

For example, People are talking about me behind my back - my friends don't like me - they are planning to harm me, people hate me, etc. are some times mere assumptions on our part. 

The worries will be over the moment we stop imagining such things.
