Neither words nor Rituals - Na shabdon ki, Na Rasmon ki

                                     Please scroll down for the English Translation

Vo chupkay chupkay aahista say dil mein aaye jaatay hain
Vo ban kay aasmaan hasti pay meri chhaaye jaatay hain

Na shabdon kee, usoolon kee, na rasmon kee zarurat hai
Suman shraddha kay to hirday say hee pehnaaye jaatay hain

Faqat baaton say hee to baat ban sakti nahin yaaro
Chaman jeevan kay to kirdaar say mehkaaye jaatay hain

Suni auron say jo baaten vahi duhraaye jaatay hain
Jo baaten khud nahin samjhay vahi samjhaaye jaatay hain

 Vo Radha Krishn kay ni'svaarth nishchhal prem kay kissay
 Zamaanay bhar mein dekho aaj bhi duhraaye jaatay hain

Vo yoon to ham say milnay ka kabhi vaada nahin kartay
Magar khvaabon mein aksar hee vo dekho aaye jaatay hain

 Tafarqay ghar kay duniya bhar ko batlaaye nahin jaatay
 Ye maslay baith kay aapas mein hee suljhaaye jaatay hain

 Kisi kay dil mein maangay say jagah milti nahin 'Rajan'
 Dilon mein to mohabbat hee say ghar banvaaye jaatay hain
                                              "  Rajan Sachdeva "

Faqat           =  Just, Only
Ni'svaart     =  Selfless
Nishchhal    =  Pure
Tafarqay    = Differences, Conflicts, Disputes

                                        Translation

Slowly and quietly entering into my heart and mind -

Taking over, wrapping, encasing my whole existence like the sky around.

Neither words nor rules - nor is a need for any rituals.

The flowers of dedication are offered only with the purity and devotion of the heart.

Just the talks can not bring any change - or make a difference - my friends.

The garden of life is adorned and aromatized only with one's actions and deeds.

Everyone simply keeps repeating what they have heard from others.

And keep convincing others - what they do not even understand themselves.

Look - those tales of the selfless, unconditional love of Radha and Krishna -

are still being recalled and recited all over the world today.

Though never promise to meet -

and yet - keep coming in the dreams so often.

The differences, conflicts, and disputes within one's home should not be made public.

Such issues should be resolved by sitting together at home

 (in friendly manners with mutual love and respect).

One can not make a place in someone's heart just by asking or demanding -

Homes in hearts are only built through love and respect.
