Eyes filled with beloved's image - Preetam chhabi nainan basi

Preetam chhabi nainan basi, Par chhabi kahaan samaaye
Bharee Saraaye 'Raheem' lakhi,  Pathik aapu phir jaaye
                                                                                               (Abdul Raheem)

Literal Meaning:
In the eyes - where the beautiful image of the beloved resides -
(if the eyes are filled with the beloved's image)
How can any other image settle in there?
Seeing the inn occupied - totally filled,
The visitor goes away on its own (without being asked to leave).

Contextual meaning -
The one who has filled the temple of his heart with the love of the Almighty Lord -
Whose mind is totally absorbed in the Lord's love and devotion,
The Maya - not being able to find any place for itself - goes away from there on its own -
without any effort from the Bhakta.
