Aasmaanon say meri jaan utar - Come down from the skies

Maan jaa ab bhee dil mein aan utar
Aasmaanon say meri jaan - utar 

Meri palken hain muntazir kab say

Too kabhi zer-e -saayebaan utar 

Main zameen hoon to ek din tu hee 

Meharbaan ho kay aasmaan, utar 

Jeet lenaa hee to nahin sab kuchh 

Bas yahee aaj dil mein thaan utar 

Joon samandar pay shaam jhukti hai 

Yoon kabhi dil pay meharbaan, utar

Zaat gehraayi hai saraabon kee 

Jaan-e-shahazad be-takaan utar

Muntazir     =  Waiting 

Joon            =   As

Zaat            =   The Self, Existence, Spirit 

Saraab  =       Mirage 

Be-Takaan  = Without hesitation, Without tiredness, lethargy, or lassitude

Please listen to me - my dear beloved friend

Come down from the skies - 

and go deep within your heart (Search within)

My eyes have been waiting for a long time.

Please come down - under my roof (in the core of my heart)

If I am the ground, then one-day O' Sky (heaven), 

Please be kind and come down to me. 

Winning is not everything in life. 

Just confine this in your heart and come down.

Just as the night falls over the sea (and covers it)

In the same way, come down and take over my heart - The benevolent one.

The Self is (hidden) under the depth of all the mirages (Maaya) we see

O' dear Shahzad - come down - dive deep - without hesitation

 - Without tiredness, lethargy, or lassitude.
