Speech is silver - Silence is gold.
The silence that guards you with respect and honor -
is better than a speech that may later bring you regret.
What is the use of such a speech or conversation which leads to remorse?
Some people have the habit of trying to provoke others.
In such a situation, silence would be better.
It can protect your honor - as well as remorse.

Yes You are right -- But as I said, if the speech becomes a matter of regret later, then it's better to be silent.

Is silence on truth due to some vested interests is also a gold ? I feel that This type of suppression would not be gold. Therefore we should remain cautious to keep mum on issue to issue.
