English translation:

 I alone am supreme and all-powerful; all others depend on me

सही वक़्त पर क़दर कीजिए

सही वक़्त पर ही क़दर करने का फायदा होता है। 

दीपक में घी डालना तभी तक सार्थक है जब तक वो जल रहा है 

बुझने के बाद उसमें घी या तेल डालना निरर्थक है। 

इंसान की क़दर और आदर भी समय रहते ही करने चाहिए। 

बाद में किया गया आदर कोई आदर नहीं होता।

उनके चले जाने के बाद तो सिर्फ अफ़सोस होता है... क़दर नहीं। 

 

किसी के जाने के बाद न तो व्यक्तिगत तौर पर उनसे कोई लाभ लिया जा सकता है 

और न ही बाद में किए गए आदर से उन्हें कोई लाभ होगा।  

इसलिए समय रहते ही अपने बुज़ुर्गों, गुरुजनों, संबंधियों, मित्रों और नेक इंसानों की क़दर कीजिए 

उनका आदर कीजिए और उनके अनुभवों से लाभ उठाने का प्रयत्न कीजिए।

Appreciate at the Right Time

Valuing and appreciating at the right time is what truly matters.

Adding ghee to a lamp is meaningful only while it is still burning;

pouring ghee or oil into it after it has gone out is useless.

Similarly, one must value and respect people while there is still time. 

Respect shown later is no respect at all;

once they are gone, there is only regret...not appreciation.

After someone has departed, neither can one derive any personal benefit from them, nor does the respect shown later benefit them in any way.

Therefore, value your elders, relatives, friends, teachers, and good people while there is still time.

Respect them, appreciate their significance, and strive to benefit from their wisdom and experiences.

अर्थात:
जो विपत्ति एवं मुसीबत के समय काम आए, वही असली मित्र अथवा दोस्त है।
सुख एवं तरक्की के समय में तो शत्रु भी आपका मित्र होने का दावा करने लगते हैं।

रेत पर ही घर बना लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं

रेत पर ही घर बना लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

इश्क़ में ख़ुद को मिटा लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

दूसरों को आसमानों पर चढ़ाने के लिए 

हसरतें अपनी मिटा लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

सैर बेशक कीजिए इस दुनिया के बाज़ार की 

दिल मगर इस से लगा लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

एक दिन तो छोड़ के सब को चले जाना है पर 

आज ही दूरी बना लेना - अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

चार दिन की ज़िंदगी में ख़ामख़ा ही दोस्तो
हर किसी की बद् दुआ लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं 

और इक उड़ता परिंदा भी पकड़ने के लिए

अक़्लमंदी       =     बुद्धिमता, स्यानप Wisdom, Intellect

ख़्वा-मख़्वाह (फ़ारसी) (अक़्सर बोलने में कहा जाता है - ख़ामख़ा:) = अनावश्यक, बेवजह, बेकार, ज़बरदस्ती, न चाहते हुए भी 

माज़ी     = अतीत, भूतकाल, बीता हुआ समय, वो समय जो बीत चुका हो Past 

मुस्तक़बिल = भविष्य, आने वाला समय Future 

इल्म          =  ज्ञान Knowledge, Wisdom 

**  (एक और परिंदा पकड़ने के लालच में जो हाथ में है वो भी गवा लेना अक़्लमंदी नहीं होती 

अर्थात नए दोस्त, संबंधी, अथवा समर्थक एवं अनुयायी बनाने के लालच में 

जो हमारे पास पहले से हैं उन्हें खो देना समझदारी नहीं है)

Building a home on sand is not wise.

Losing one's own self entirely in love is not wise.

To elevate others to the skies 

Extinguishing one's own desires completely is not wise.

By all means, wander through the marketplace of this world,

But letting your heart become attached to it is not wise.

One day, we must leave everything behind and depart,

But creating distance while we are still here is not wise.

In this transient, fleeting life, O my friends, 

Incurring the ill-will of others is not wise. 

To catch another bird that is in flight, 

Losing what is already in your hand is not wise.

(To make new friends, acquaintances, supporters, or followers, 

Losing the ones we already have is not wise) 

Certainly we cannot change the past, but

Squandering the future as well is not wise. 

Sharing knowledge never diminishes it, 'O Rajan 

Concealing the wisdom one has gained is not wise.

Ahankar me Teeno gaye ---- Arrogance destroys all three

         Ahankar me teeno gaye Dhan Vaibhav aur Vansh

              Na maano to dekh lo Raavan, Kaurav, Kans

         English Translation:

Arrogance destroys all three—wealth, prosperity, and lineage.

If you doubt it, look at the fate of Ravana, Kauravas, and Kans.

Ego is a silent destroyer.

Ego or arrogance destroys everything a person holds dear: wealth, power, prosperity, and even the honor of one's family and lineage. 

No matter how great one's achievements or status are, arrogance eventually leads to downfall. 

No matter how powerful, learned, or wealthy an individual may be, once ego takes root within them, their downfall becomes inevitable.

If you want proof, look at the fate of King Ravan, the Kauravas, and Kans. 

Despite their immense power, boundless wealth, and vast empires, their ego and arrogance blinded them, and in the end, they lost everything. 

Ravana was a scholar of unparalleled intellect, a great ascetic, and the emperor of the golden city of Lanka.

The Kauravas possessed a vast kingdom, a massive army, and extraordinary might.

Kansa, too, was an immensely powerful king.

However, ego and arrogance narrowed their vision so much that they strayed from the path of truth and righteousness, unable to accept even the sound counsel offered by their own kin and wise advisors. Ultimately, they met their downfall. 

Therefore, we should always remain humble. 

If there is one flaw against which one must be most vigilant in life, it is ego. 

Humility elevates; it makes a person great and brings them closer to the Divine, whereas ego leads them astray into a darkness of their own making. Ego is a fire that first consumes the very person in whom it originates. It clouds a person's judgment, robs them of the ability to accept the truth, and fills them with a false sense of pride regarding their capabilities, wealth, status, and knowledge. 

Having a sense of self-respect is not wrong.  

Self-respect is a virtue, but overestimating ourselves and developing an extreme ego, considering ourselves superior to others, and harboring arrogance are not. 

It is said in the Scriptures, "Where ego ends, that is where the doors to wisdom and divine grace open.

Therefore, we should strive to follow the path of truth and righteousness while staying humble and being respectful to others.

अहंकार में तीनों गए धन वैभव और वंश

                   अहंकार में तीनों गए धन वैभव और वंश

                     न मानो तो देख लो रावण, कौरव कंस

अहंकार मनुष्य के जीवन में एक मौन विनाशक है। 

यह केवल धन, वैभव और सत्ता ही नहीं, बल्कि परिवार की प्रतिष्ठा, वंश की मर्यादा और जीवन की उपलब्धियों तक को नष्ट कर देता है। 

व्यक्ति चाहे कितना भी शक्तिशाली, विद्वान या समृद्ध क्यों न हो, यदि उसके भीतर अहंकार घर कर जाए तो उसका पतन निश्चित हो जाता है।

यदि प्रमाण चाहिए, तो रावण, कौरवों और कंस का इतिहास देख लीजिए। 

अपार शक्ति, असीम संपत्ति और विशाल साम्राज्य होने के बावजूद, उनका अहंकार ही उनके सर्वनाश का कारण बना। 

 जहाँ विनम्रता जीवन को ऊँचा उठाती है, वहीं अहंकार अंततः सब कुछ छीन लेता है।

अहंकार वह अग्नि है जो सबसे पहले उसी व्यक्ति को जलाती है, जिसके भीतर वह जन्म लेती है। 

अहंकार मनुष्य के विवेक को ढक देता है, सत्य को स्वीकार करने की क्षमता छीन लेता है और उसे अपने सामर्थ्य, धन, पद तथा ज्ञान का मिथ्या अभिमान करा देता है। 

परिणामस्वरुप, धन, वैभव, यश, सत्ता और यहाँ तक कि वंश की प्रतिष्ठा भी टिक नहीं पाती।

इसीलिए संतों ने कहा है—

           अहंकार में तीनों गए  धन, वैभव और वंश 

              न मानो तो देख लो, रावण, कौरव, कंस 

रावण अतुलनीय विद्वान, महान तपस्वी और स्वर्ण-लंका का सम्राट था। 

कौरवों के पास विशाल राज्य, अपार सेना और असाधारण सामर्थ्य था। 

कंस भी अत्यंत शक्तिशाली राजा था। 

परंतु अहंकार ने उनकी दृष्टि को इतना संकुचित कर दिया कि वे सत्य और धर्म के मार्ग से हट गए और परिजनों के दिए गए उचित परामर्श को भी स्वीकार न कर सके। और अंततः पतन के शिकार हो गए।  

इसलिए जीवन में यदि किसी एक दोष से सबसे अधिक सावधान रहने की आवश्यकता है, तो वह है अहंकार। 

विनम्रता ही इंसान को महान बनाती है और उसे ईश्वर के निकट ले जाती है, जबकि अहंकार उसे अपने ही बनाए अंधकार में भटका देता है। 

शास्त्र कहते हैं कि जहाँ अहंकार समाप्त होता है, वहीं से ज्ञान, प्रेम और ईश्वर की कृपा का द्वार खुलता है। 

इसलिए, इंसान को विनम्र रहना चाहिए। 

स्वाभिमान होना अच्छी बात है, लेकिन स्वयं को बहुत ज्ञानी और दूसरों से बहुत बड़ा समझना और घमंड करना अच्छी बात नहीं।

विनम्र रहकर और दूसरों का सम्मान करते हुए सत्य के मार्ग पर चलने का प्रयत्न करें।

Guru Poornima - Thanks and Gratitude to all my Gurus

On the Auspicious Occasion of Guru Purnima, I extend my heartfelt greetings and Best wishes to our respected Parents, all Teachers & Mentors.  

Guru Purnima is an Indian & Nepali spiritual tradition dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers. Those who are evolved or enlightened humans - and ready to share their wisdom, with very little or no monetary expectation.

It is believed that a person is blind without a teacher to guide him. 

Mother and father are a child's first teachers. 

But after that, the Guru becomes his or her second mother or father.

The Shastras proclaim that a human being is born twice - known as Dvija. 

First, by the union of the father and mother - and second, when he is accepted by a bona fide Guru. 

The Guru acts as a father and delivers him the knowledge - with the help of mother Gayatri - a personified symbol of the holy scriptures (the personification of the knowledge & wisdom).
In other words, Guru is considered the father, and the Holy Scriptures and literature are considered the mother. 

Guru teaches with the help of, or according to, the Scriptures.

The festival of Guru Poornima is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of Ashadh (July-August) in the Hindu calendar of India and Nepal.
The full moon symbolizes perfection.
Guru-Poornima is a symbolic reminder of the belief that Guru is Poorna - perfect.
We cannot learn much from someone if we have doubts about their knowledge in the subject we want to acquire.
In order to learn, we need to have faith in the Guru - the teacher.
Therefore, we always try to find a Guru who has perfect knowledge of the required subject. Once our curiosity about the Guru’s Gyan or knowledge is satisfied, we must have faith in his teachings.

One of the most popular beliefs about the meaning of Guru Poornima is - 

That Guru Poornima is not just a symbol of gratitude of the disciple towards the Guru - it is also a reaffirmation of the belief that the Guru is Poorna.

While contemplating this belief, a thought occurred to me.

A teacher asked his young student:
“Johnny. How old is your father”?
“Six years,” Johnny said.
“How is that possible?” the teacher asked.
“Duh..... Because he became a father when I was born.”

A person is not a father until he has a child.

He becomes a father only when his child is born.
Similarly, doesn’t a Guru become a perfect Guru when his disciples achieve perfection?

Therefore, the gratitude towards the Guru is not just singing the Guru’s praises and offering thanks and gifts.

The student or disciple must strive to understand the Guru's teachings and imbibe them.

Just as parents become happy and proud of their children’s achievements, the Gurus also feel happy and proud when they see their disciples achieving heights and perfection. 

Seeing the children prosper, parents feel a sense of achievement that their love and sacrifice have paid off ... that they have fulfilled their role as parents. 

Similarly, seeing the disciples become perfect and attain the same heights, the Guru may feel that he has fulfilled his role as Guru. 

Therefore, sincere and genuine gratitude towards the Guru would be when we start working seriously towards achieving perfection in ourselves to make the Guru feel happy, content, and fulfilled. 

May the Lord bless us all to achieve that Poornima.

शुभ गुरु पूर्णिमा - सब गुरुओं को सादर समर्पित

     उन सब गुरुओं को सादर समर्पित -

जिन्हों ने मुझे सब कुछ सिखाया - तराशा और संवारा 

गुरु पूर्णिमा एक भारतीय और नेपाली आध्यात्मिक परंपरा है - जो आध्यात्मिक और शैक्षणिक गुरुओं के प्रति समर्पित है।

ऐसे गुरुओं के प्रति - जो स्वयं विकसित एवं प्रबुद्ध हैं और अपने ज्ञान को बिना किसी स्वार्थ के बाँटने के लिए तैयार हैं।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि गुरु के मार्गदर्शन के बिना व्यक्ति अंधा होता है।

बच्चे के पहले गुरु होते हैं उसके माता और पिता।

फिर गुरु भी माता या पिता का ही रुप बन जाते हैं।

शास्त्रों में कहा गया है कि मनुष्य दो बार जन्म लेता है - जिसे द्विज के नाम से जाना जाता है।

पहला जन्म पिता और माता के मिलन से - और दूसरा - जब वह एक अच्छे और पूर्ण गुरु द्वारा स्वीकार कर लिया जाता है।

गुरु एक पिता के रुप में माँ गायत्री - अर्थात शास्त्रों की मदद से ज्ञान प्रदान करता है

अर्थात शास्त्रों में वर्णित ज्ञान के अनुसार विस्तार से समझाता है ।

गायत्री का अर्थ है शास्त्र एवं शास्त्रोचित ज्ञान।

दूसरे शब्दों में गुरु को पिता और शास्त्रों एवं साहित्य को माता माना गया है -

क्योंकि गुरु - शास्त्रों और प्रामाणिक पुस्तकों की सहायता से ही पढ़ाते हैं।

गुरु पूर्णिमा का त्योहार भारत और नेपाल के हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार आषाढ़ (जुलाई-अगस्त) के महीने में पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाया जाता है।

जैसे पूर्णिमा का चाँद पूर्णता का प्रतीक है। वैसे ही गुरु-पूर्णिमा इस विश्वास का प्रतीक है कि गुरु पूर्ण है।

यदि हमें गुरु पर विश्वास ही न हो - तो हम उन से कुछ भी नहीं सीख सकते।

कुछ भी सीखने के लिए हमें अपने गुरु - अपने शिक्षक पर विश्वास होना चाहिए।

अगर हमें वांछित विषय में उनके ज्ञान के बारे में संदेह है तो हम उन से कुछ भी प्राप्त नहीं कर पाएंगे ।

इसलिए , हम हमेशा एक ऐसे गुरु को खोजने का प्रयास करते हैं, जिसे उस विषय में पूर्ण ज्ञान हो।

और जब गुरु के ज्ञान और उनके अनुभव के बारे में हमारी जिज्ञासा शांत हो जाती है, तो हमें स्वयंमेव ही उनकी शिक्षाओं पर भी विश्वास होने लगता है।

गुरु-पूर्णिमा केवल गुरु के प्रति शिष्य की कृतज्ञता का ही प्रतीक नहीं है -

बल्कि इस विश्वास की भी पुष्टि है कि पूर्णिमा के चाँद की तरह ही गुरु भी पूर्ण है।

कुछ भी सीखने अथवा प्राप्त करने के लिए गुरु के प्रति पूर्ण विशवास का होना अनिवार्य है। 

लेकिन यहां एक सवाल भी उठता है - कि क्या बिना शिष्यों के कोई गुरु पूर्ण हो सकता है?

एक स्कूल में एक शिक्षक ने एक बच्चे से पूछा:

तुम्हारी उम्र क्या है ?

बच्चे ने कहा - छह साल" ।

"और तुम्हारे पापा कितने साल के हैं?"

"वह भी छह साल के हैं ।"

"ये कैसे संभव है?" शिक्षक ने पूछा।

बच्चे ने कहा - "क्योंकि मेरे जन्म के बाद ही तो वो पिता बने थे "

कोई व्यक्ति तब तक पिता नहीं होता जब तक कि उसकी कोई संतान न हों।

वह पिता तो तभी बनता है जब उसकी संतान जन्म लेती है।

इसी तरह, एक गुरु भी तभी पूर्ण गुरु बनता है जब उसके शिष्य भी पूर्णता को प्राप्त करते हैं।

गुरु कोई डिग्री, योग्यता या शिक्षक या प्रोफेसर जैसी कोई सीट, कोई पद या कोई नौकरी नहीं है।

गुरु किसी व्यक्ति के प्रति एक श्रृद्धा का भाव है - 

जो न केवल आवश्यक विषय पढ़ाता है - बल्कि व्यक्तिगत रुप से शिष्य को उनके जीवन के हर कदम पर मार्गदर्शन करता है और उन्हें पूर्णता तक पहुंचने में मदद करता है।

इसलिए, गुरु के प्रति कृतज्ञता का अर्थ केवल गुरु की स्तुति गाना और धन्यवाद और उपहार इत्यादि देना ही नहीं है।

शिष्य को गुरु की शिक्षाओं को सही ढंग से समझने का प्रयास करके - उन्हें आत्मसात करना चाहिए, और अपने जीवन में पूर्णता प्राप्त करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

जिस प्रकार माता-पिता अपने बच्चों की उपलब्धियों पर प्रसन्न और गौरवान्वित होते हैं - उसी तरह गुरु भी अपने शिष्यों को ऊंचाइयों और पूर्णता को प्राप्त करते हुए देखकर संतुष्ट और गौरवान्वित महसूस करते हैं।

लेकिन जो अपने शिष्यों से ईर्ष्या करता हो - जो नहीं चाहता कि उसके शिष्य विकसित हों और पूर्णता तक पहुँचें - ऐसे गुरु को एक पूर्ण गुरु नहीं माना जा सकता।

बच्चों को समृद्ध होते देख कर माता-पिता को अपने आप में एक उपलब्धि का अहसास होता है कि उन का प्यार और बलिदान काम आया है -

कि उन्होंने माता-पिता के रुप में अपनी भूमिका पूरी की है - अपना कर्तव्य ठीक से निभाया है।

इसी प्रकार शिष्यों को सिद्ध होते हुए और अपने समान ऊँचाइयों को प्राप्त करते हुए देखकर, गुरु को भी लगता है कि उन्होंने गुरु के रुप में अपनी भूमिका पूरी तरह निभाई है। उनका सिखाना और समझाना-बुझाना काम आया है।

इसलिए गुरु के प्रति हमारी सच्ची कृतज्ञता तब होगी जब हम स्वयं भी पूर्णता प्राप्त करने की दिशा में -

और सही मायने में गुरु को प्रसन्न एवं संतुष्ट करने के लिए गंभीरता से कोशिश करना शुरु कर देंगे।

आइए - उस पूर्णिमा को प्राप्त करने के लिए हम सभी प्रभु से प्रार्थना करें और आशीर्वाद की कामना करें।

           Aangan ki yeh khwahish hai ki rim jhim ki ho barsaat

The courtyard yearns for a drizzling rain 

While the roof demands that not a single drop should fall.

It often happens in life that what brings happiness to one person may become a source of worry or distress for another.

For instance, the courtyard yearns for a gentle drizzle. Hoping the rain will wash away the debris and provide water to the grass and plants. 

Yet, the worn, deteriorated roof prays that not a single drop of rain falls. 

In other words, life's circumstances and constraints can be such that two opposing desires may coexist within the very same home. 

Therefore, when making any decision in life, it is essential to consider not just one's desires, but the prevailing circumstances as well.

One should strive to understand not only one's own wants and desires but also the circumstances and needs of others.

             आँगन की ये ख़्वाहिश है कि रिमझिम की हो बरसात

                और छत का तक़ाज़ा है कि इक बूँद न बरसे

भावार्थ:

जीवन में अक्सर ऐसा होता है कि जो चीज़ किसी एक के लिए सुख का कारण होती है, वही किसी दूसरे के लिए चिंता या कष्ट का कारण बन सकती है। 

जैसे आँगन चाहता है कि रिमझिम वर्षा हो। जिसमें सारा कूड़ा-कचरा बह जाए और घास और पौधों को पानी भी मिल जाए। 

लेकिन घर की जर्जर छत प्रार्थना करती है कि बारिश की एक बूँद भी न गिरे। 

अर्थात, कभी कभी जीवन की परिस्थितियाँ और मजबूरियाँ ऐसी होती हैं कि एक ही घर में दो विपरीत इच्छाएँ साथ-साथ रहती हैं। 

इसलिए जीवन में कोई भी निर्णय लेते समय इच्छाओं के साथ-साथ परिस्थितियों का भी ध्यान रखना आवश्यक है। 

केवल अपनी चाहत और परिस्थिति का ही नहीं, बल्कि दूसरों की परिस्थितियों और आवश्यकताओं को भी समझने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

It is said that 'Prayer is a bridge between Panic and Peace'. 

Prayer is a silent bridge that carries the mind from the chaos of distress and anxiety to the calmness of peace. 

Prayer does not necessarily change circumstances, but during times of distress, anxiety, and agitation, it can serve as a tranquil bridge that shifts the mind from the turmoil of panic to a state of peace.

कहते हैं कि प्रार्थना या अरदास - चिंता और शांति के बीच एक पुल है।

प्रार्थना एक ऐसा पुल है जो मन को परेशानी और चिंता की उथल-पुथल से निकालकर शांत अवस्था में ले जाता है। 

ये ज़रुरी नहीं कि प्रार्थना या अरदास से हालात बदल ही जाएं, लेकिन संकट और परेशानी के समय अरदास एक ऐसे अद्भुत पुल का काम करती है, जो मन को बेचैनी, घबराहट एवं उथल-पुथल से हटाकर शांति की अवस्था में ले जाती है। और चिंतित मन शांत होने लगता है।

सुमति कुमति सब कै मन माहिं

    सुमति कुमति सबके उर रहहीं। नाथ पुरान निगम अस कहहीं॥
    जहाँ सुमति तहँ संपति नाना। जहाँ कुमति तहँ बिपति निदाना॥

                                                  " रामचरित मानस "

 अर्थ : 

हे नाथ ! पुराण और वेद ऐसा कहते हैं कि सुबुद्धि (अच्छी बुद्धि, अच्छे विचार और सद्भावना) और कुबुद्धि (खोटी बुद्धि, इर्ष्य,द्वेष,एवं बुरे विचार) सबके हृदय में रहती है। 

दुसरे शब्दों में - केवल मात्रा का ही अंतर होता है। आम तौर पर हर इंसान के मन में कुछ न कुछ सदभावना और दुर्भावना - अच्छे और बुरे विचार उठते ही रहते हैं। 

कुछ लोगों के मन में अधिकतर सद्भावना और अच्छे विचार ही उठते हैं और कुछ लोगों के मन में हमेशा दूसरों के प्रति दुर्भावना ही रहती है। 

संत तुलसीदास जी कहते हैं कि जहाँ सुबुद्धि है, वहाँ नाना प्रकार की सम्पदाओं, सुख समृद्धि एवं शांति का निवास रहता है 

और जहाँ कुबुद्धि है वहाँ विभिन्न प्रकार की विपत्तियों एवं दुःख का वास रहता है। 

अर्थात यदि विचारों को बदल लें तो जीवन बदल सकता है। 

यदि मन में अच्छे विचार और सबके प्रति सद्भावना होगी - किसी के प्रति ईर्ष्या और द्वेष की भावना नहीं रहेगी तो मन शांत रहेगा और जीवन में सुख एवं शान्ति बनी रहेगी।

Sumati Kumati sabkay ur maahin (Noble and evil thoughts dwell in everyone's heart)

Sumati Kumati sab kay ur rehahin 

Naath Puran Nigam us kahahin॥ 

Jahaan Sumati tahaan Sampati naana 

Jahan Kumati tahaan bipati nidaana॥

                      " Ram Charit Maanas"

Meaning: 

O Lord! The Puranas and Vedas state that both 'Subuddhi' (wisdom, noble thoughts, and goodwill) and 'Kubuddhi' (foolishness, malice, hatred, and evil thoughts) reside in everyone's heart.

Generally, every person's mind constantly gives rise to a mix of goodwill and ill-will—good thoughts and bad thoughts. The difference lies merely in degree. Some people's minds are predominantly filled with goodwill and noble thoughts, whereas others harbor constant malice towards others.

Saint Tulsidas says that where 'Subuddhi' prevails, various forms of wealth, happiness, prosperity, and peace reside. 

And where 'Kubuddhi' prevails, various calamities and sorrows dwell. 

It implies that changing one's thoughts can transform one's life.

If the mind continually harbors noble thoughts and goodwill towards all, and stays free from envy and hatred, it will remain calm, and happiness and peace will endure in life.

जंगल जंगल ढूँढ रहा है Wandering from place to place

जंगल जंगल ढूँढ रहा है मृग अपनी कस्तूरी

पल पल बढ़ती जाती है यूं स्वयं से उसकी दूरी 

सत्गुरु कबीर जी महाराज फरमाते हैं :

        कस्तूरी कुंडल बसै, मृग ढूंढ़ै बन माहिं।  

        ऐसे घट घट राम हैं, दुनिया देखे नाहिं॥ 

Jungle jungle dhoondh rahaa hai mrig apni kasturi 

Pal pal badhti jaati hai yoon swayam say uski doori 

The deer wanders from forest to forest in search of its own musk.

Yet with every passing moment, the distance from its own self only grows farther. 

Satguru Kabir Ji Maharaj proclaims: 

         Kasturi kundal basai, Mrig dhundhay ban mahin

         Aesay ghat ghat Ram hai, duniya dekhay naahin 

The musk resides within the deer's own navel, yet it searches the forest in vain;

In the same way, Ram, the Lord dwells within every heart, yet the world fails to see Him. 

कहानी बन के रह जाएंगे One day, we will be just a story

कुल मिला कर देखूं गर, तो ज़िंदगानी अच्छी थी 

रास्ते समतल न थे, फिर भी रवानी अच्छी थी 

इक दिन 'राजन' भी कहानी बन के रह जाएगा, पर

लोग सुन के ये कहें  कि ' ये कहानी अच्छी थी '

Looking back, all in all, life was good

He pervades everything and, at the same time, fulfills everything.

The countless colors, attractions, and fascinating diversions of the world have captivated the human mind. That is why so few truly seek and recognize Him. 

The Lord, Govind, is everything. Everything is Govind. 

There is nothing and no one apart from Him. 

Just as a single thread holds together hundreds and thousands of beads, the entire universe is woven together by Him. 

A wave, foam, and bubbles are nothing but the ocean's water in different forms. They cannot be separated from the water itself. 

In the same way, even after careful inquiry and discrimination, the Creator cannot be separated from His creation. The entire universe is but His manifestation.

Delusion and fleeting worldly desires become an illusion when the Ultimate Truth is realized. 

When the mind is awakened and enlightened through the wisdom imparted by the Guru, life itself becomes noble and meaningful.

Guru Namdev says: Contemplate the Lord's wondrous divine creation within your own heart. 

In every particle of existence, and throughout eternity, there is only one Murari, one Lord, one Reality.

In the marketplace of the world, everything has a price.
Things often seem valuable before acquiring them.
And the value of people is realized after losing them. 

रौशनी कभी अंधेरे से बहस नहीं करती

रौशनी कभी शोर नहीं मचाती कि वह दुनिया को रौशन कर सकती है,

न ही वह अंधेरे से बहस करती है। 

वो तो बस चमकती है और अपने आस-पास की हर चीज़ को रौशन कर देती है। 

सत्य और नेकी एवं भलाई के कामों को विज्ञापन की ज़रुरत नहीं होती।

सच्चे संत न तो शोहरत, प्रसिद्धि, विख्याति अथवा दूसरों से मान्यता की अपेक्षा करते हैं और न ही वो लोगों से बहस करके जीतना चाहते हैं। 

वो तो अपने विवेक और नेक कर्मों के कारण स्वयंमेव ही उद्घाटित और लोक-प्रिय बन जाते हैं और अंततः लोगों के दिलों में अपनी जगह बना लेते हैं।

Light does not argue with darkness

Light does not broadcast that it can illuminate the world, 

Nor does it argue with the darkness. 

It simply shines and illuminates everything around it. 

Truth, wisdom, and goodness do not need to be loudly proclaimed. 

True Saints do not seek recognition, validation, or victory in arguments.

They reveal themselves through their wisdom and actions and thus, earn their place in people's hearts.
