Dr. Shrikant Jichkar!
Shrikant Jichkar was born in 1954 in an affluent Maratha farming family.
He was the most educated person in India, which is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Dr. Shrikant had obtained more than 20 degrees!
Some regular and some through correspondence.
That too in first-class and gold medalist.

Srikant Jichkar was also an IPS officer of the 1978 batch and an IAS officer of the 1980 batch.
He became MLA in Maharashtra in 1981
and a Rajya Sabha MP from 1992 to 1998!
Shrikant Jichkar spent all his time from 1973 to 1990 preparing for university exams.
He resigned in 1980 after doing only 4 months job of IAS.
Became the youngest MLA of the country at the age of 26, also became a minister in the Maharashtra government -
During that time, a monk came to see him at the hospital.
He consoled him and inspired him to study Sanskrit language scriptures.
"You can't die now... you have a lot of work to do now!" The monk said.
Miraculously, Shrikant Jichkar made a complete recovery!
As soon as he became healthy, he retired from politics and studied Sanskrit, and earned a D.Litt degree in Sanskrit - which is the highest degree in any field.
He used to say - "My life has changed after studying the Sanskrit language! My thirst for knowledge is fulfilled!"
He established Sandipani School in Pune and Kalidas Sanskrit University in Nagpur - of which he also became the first vice-chancellor.
His library was the biggest personal library of any individual person, containing about 52000 books.
His only dream was to have at least one Sanskrit language scholar in every household in India - and no family should suffer from lifestyle diseases like diabetes.

People of such extraordinary talent have been seen as inadequate in terms of age.
The life of every meritorious, very talented people is not very long.
Shankaracharya, Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, and Vivekananda also did not live long!
On June 2, 2004, Shrikant Jichkar died in a horrific road accident in Maharashtra, 60 km from Nagpur.
His work regarding the promotion of Sanskrit language and Holistic health remained incomplete.
Unfortunately, even in India, no one knows about him and the media hardly talks about such a virtuous person whose life can inspire so many youths.
Salute to the mixed personality of such teacher, knowledgeable, enthusiastic personality, doctor, legal expert, administrator, and politician!
