Count the Blessings - Complain no more

Pray sincerely from the heart's core
Because we have so much to thank for

Eyes to see and ears to hear
Things that make us happy and cheer
Nose to smell and tongue to talk
Hands to work and feet to walk

A brain - that can think rationally
and helps us make our choices freely
There is so much more from head to toe
That we hardly ever think of though

Have family and friends who love and care
in time of need - they are always there
There's so much more to contemplate
The gifts we have are all so great

Now it's time to do our part
Be grateful from the core of the heart
Whatever happens, comes what may
Pray, we should - every night and day

Not only when we need something
Not only when suffering and hurting
But because of what we have already
A healthy body and mind steady

What we have - admire and adore
Count the blessings, complain no more

Let us thank and praise the Almighty
And leave our life in his hands mighty
