मुद्दा ये था कि सही क्या है? The Point was, what is Right?

यूँ ही एक छोटी सी बात पे

           ताल्लुकात पुराने बिगड़ गये

मुद्दा ये था कि सही  'क्या ' है?

     और वो सही  'कौन ' पर उलझ गये

Yoon hee ek chhoti si baat par 

              Ta'allukaat puraanay bigad gaye 

Muddaa ye thaa ki sahi 'kya' hai 

              Aur vo sahi 'Kaun' par ulajh gaye 

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just on a small thing

       the good old relations have deteriorated

The point was, 'what is right?

              And they got stuck on 'who is right.
