Ram Syon Kar Preet - Love & Adore Ram - The Omnipresent Lord

Re Man Ram Syon Kar Preet
Sravan Gobind Gun Suno Aur Gao Rasnaa Geet ||1|| Rahao ||
Kar Sadh Sangat Simar Madho hohi Patit Puneet
Kaal Biaal Jio Pareo Dolai Mukh Pasaaray Meet
Aaj Kaal Fun Tohi Gras hai Samajh Raakho Cheet
Kahai Nanak Ram Bhaj Lay Jaat Aousar Beet
                            (Guru Teg Bahadur ji)

                            Translation

O my mind, love and adore Rama*- the Omnipresent Almighty Lord -
Divert your love and attention towards Him.
With ears - listen to the Glorious Praises of Govind* (the creator of the universe.)
And with tongue - sing His songs - His glory.

Spend time in the Sadh Sangat - in the company of Holy Saints, and meditate - chant the name of the Sweet Lord*
By doing so, the sinners and lost and fallen can also become pure and pious.

O friends - Death is on the prowl with its mouth wide open.
Today or tomorrow, it will seize you - swallow you as well.
Understand (this fact) and always keep this in your mind.

Says Nanak - meditate and chant upon the name of Ram - the Lord
Time is ticking - The opportunity is slipping away!
(So don't delay it.)
 ==================================

According to the Scriptures - "Ramantay iti Ramah" - The one who is present everywhere - the Omnipresent Supreme entity is called Ram.
*Govind = Go (Earth or Universe) +Vind (Cause or creator)
Govind means the cause or the creator of the universe.
*Maadhav = The sweet - the Sweetest - the cause of joy.
The Sanskrit word Maadhav comes from Madhu - meaning Honey or sweet.

    प्रभु राम की तरह हमेशा मर्यादा में रहना है।
    हरदम ही रसना से अपनी मधुर वचन ही कहना है।
    रोम रोम में राम बसेगा राम राज्य आ जायेगा।
