Hasaraton ki Halchal - No more frenzy of desires

Hasaraton ki dil mein jab halchal nahin rahi
Zindagi mein phir koyi kalkal nahin rahi

Aaj ka ye daur "AI" ka daur hai
Zaat ab insaan ki afzal nahin rahi

Kaat kar pedon ko ye lakdi kay saudaagar
Poochhtay hain kyon hawaa nirmal nahin rahi

Thi kabhi Durga kabhi Jhansi ki Rani thi
Naari Bharat ki kabhi Nirbal nahin rahi

Mazahab-o-millat ki deevaaren hateen jahaan
Vair nafarat kee vahaan daldal nahin rahi

Soch kay rakhnaa kadam aye dosto yahaan
Raah-e-M'arfat kabhi Samatal nahin rahi

Chheenaa umr-e-peeri nay sab josh aur junoon
Dil mein vo sulagati daavaanal nahin rahi

Naatwaani chhaa rahi hai jism-o-jaan pay ab
Thak gayi hai zindagi - chanchal nahin rahi

Dosti bhi rasm-o-raah ban kay rah gayi
Pehlay see vo khushnumaa mehfil nahin rahi

Lagtay thay melay jahaan rehti theen raunaken
Aaj un galiyon mein bhi halchal nahin rahi

Jaanay ye kaisi chali 'Rajan' hawaa ki ab
Koyi shakhseeyat yahaan nishchhal nahin rahi

                             English Translation
When no stir and frenzy of desires was left in the heart
The life became commotionless - without uproars and turmoils.

Today's era is the era of 'A I'.
Man is not the best or the highest of creation any more.

First, these wood merchants cut the trees in the forests
Then they ask - why is the air not clean anymore?

Sometimes she was Durga, and sometimes queen of Jhansi.
The women of India have never been weak.

Wherever the walls of religion and its community are removed
Swamps of hostility and hatred do not remain there anymore.

O my friends - Be wakeful and cautious when you step on this path!
The road to Enlightenment has never been flat - plain and without bumps and ridges.

The old age took away all the enthusiasm and passion from the heart
That burning fire (of vibrance and eagerness) is not there anymore.

The weakness - frailty is now taking over the body and mind.
Life is getting tired now - it's no longer lively and playful anymore.

Now - Friendships have also become a sort of courtesy and formality.
The gatherings and assemblies are not as pleasant as they used to be.

Where there were always fairs and lively celebrations all the time -
Today - there is no activity on those streets anymore.

Don't Know what sort of wind is blowing nowadays.
No honorable personality seems to be innocent -
blameless and without deception anymore.
