Kya garaz hai kisi kaam ki takmeel say - Why bother to accomplish any task?

Kya garaz hai ab kisi bhi kaam ki Takmeel say
Maang lo jo chaahiye Khazaana-e-Tehseel say

Satt kay baith jao kuchh din shehar ki Faseel say
Roti Khao Langar say - Paani peeyo Chhabeel say

Kar lena phir Sauda bhi ik achhay say Wakeel say
Baat vo manvaa lega Jhoothi-Sachi Daleel say

Uljhane jab badh gayin to doraahay pay baith kar
Poochhtay hain Rasta manzil ka Sang-e-Meel say

Kyon Kamar mein khanzar hai kyon haath mein Talwar hai?
Kyon Maathay par silvaten kyon bol hain Ashleel say?

Jaan kisi Mazloom ki lenay say pehlay zaalimo
Dard us ka poochhiye ik Maadar-e-Qateel say

Muaamalaa mushkil nahin hota hai Suljhaana koyi
Baith kar sab baat kar leven agar Tafseel say

Apni mehnat ki kamaayi mein hi hai 'Rajan' Swaab
Chand Sikkon kay liye phirtay nahin Zaleel say

What's the point in completing any work - accomplishing any task anymore?
Just ask for whatever you want from the Treasury of the State.

Go and Sit down near the boundary wall of the city for a few days (in protest)
Get your food from the Langar and water from a Chabeel - a complimentary water hut for the public.

Then, make a deal with a good and savvy lawyer.
He will get your issues solved with true or false arguments.

Facing the complications - sitting at the crossroads
Asking for (alternative) directions to the destination from the Milestones.

Why are there daggers in the waists and swords in the hands?
Why are the wrinkles on the foreheads and obscene language on the tongues?

O, Tyrant! Before taking the life of oppressed and helpless people,
Ask about the pain of the mother of a murdered one.

No matter is too difficult to solve -
Only if people sit down together and talk peacefully about everything in detail.

The reward lies in one's own hard-earned money.
One should not roam around in humiliation for a few pieces of coins.
