Kindness is not an Act

Kindness is not an act.
It's a reflection of our mind - of our thoughts.
Those who are pure at heart -
Those who always have good and positive thoughts in their minds are naturally kind and generous.
Kindness and generosity are part of their nature.
They do not have to put an act - or pretend to be kind for the sake of publicity - or to satisfy their own ego.

Therefore the Vedas proclaim:
Watch your thoughts, for they become your deeds.
Continual actions become your habits -
and habits define your personality.
That is what you eventually become.

In other words - we ultimately become what our thoughts are.
Therefore, if we want to change our nature, we should try to change our thoughts.
By changing our thoughts, we can easily change our nature.
