Though heat is in the sun -Tapish sooraj mein hai तपिश सूरज में है लेकिन

तपिश सूरज में है लेकिन ज़मीं को तपना पड़ता है 

निगाहें जुर्म करें तो दिल को ही तड़पना  पड़ता है 

Tapish sooraj mein hai lekin zameen ko tapnaa padtaa hai 

Nigaahen jurm karain to dil ko hee tadapanaa padtaa hai

Though heat is in the sun - 

But it's the earth that has to burn.

Though eyes are deviant & mischievous 

yet, it's the heart that has to suffer.
