Miracle

After the riots, Police started raids to recover looted goods.

Out of fear - to avoid an arrest, people started throwing the looted goods outside in the dark of night.

One man was facing difficulty.

He had two big, heavy bags of sugar, which he had looted from the grocer's shop.

Somehow, he managed to toss one of them into the nearby well in the dark of night.

But while trying to dump the other one - he also fell into the well.

Hearing the noise and cries for help, people gathered around the well.

They dropped the ropes in the well - Two men went down and brought the man out.

But he died after an hour.

The next day when people fetched water from that well for use, it was sweet.

That night - lighted lamps were placed on the man's grave. 

It was a miracle. 

The man was glorified - that he had sacrificed his life in order to provide sweet water to the people of his village.
