We are like tiny pieces of iron

The irony of our existence is that -
We are just like tiny pieces of iron - trying to resist the pull of the most enormous -  the most powerful magnet i.e. Maya.

Rich or poor, Big or small, Strong or weak - everyone seems to be under its spell.
Even great sages and saints seem to be unable to resist the attraction of worldly pleasures - wealth - name & fame, and power, etc.
Everyone wants to accumulate more wealth - more riches & assets. 

Everyone wants to have some sort of power – to have control over other people.
Rare are those who can resist this urge – who can escape the allure of Maya and remain unaffected by it.
