Kamar baandhay huye chalnay ko yaan sab yaar baithay hain
Bahut aagay gaye - baaqi jo hain taiyyaar baithay hain
Na chhed ae Nikahat-e-baad-e-bahaari raah lag apni
Tujhay atkheliyaan soojhi hain ham be-zaar baithay hain
Najeebon ka ajab kuchh haal hai is daur mein yaaro
Jisay poochho yahi kehtay hain hum bekaar baithay hain
~ Insha Allaah Khaan 'Insha' ~

English Translation
All my friends are sitting here - equipped and prepared.
Many have already gone - those who are left are also ready to leave.
Don't disturb me, O' beautiful, pleasant morning breeze - continue to your way.
I am sitting here sad and restless - and you want to play some mischief with me?
The state of the genuinely wise and intellectuals is strange in this era, my friends.
Whomever you ask, they say we are sitting idle - inactive - nothing to do.
(No one cares for them anymore.)
Beautifully written 👏
ReplyDeleteAs with everything else, wisdom will also require some/more updating with the environment in which it lives and applicable. Those that are genuinely wise will have to update their knowledge base and the wisdom that comes as a result. Change here doesn't necessarily mean you start from scratch, rather modification and improvisation and adapting to the new Era...or else...it will remain strange. 🌹🙏🏻
An excellent explanation
