Waqt kay haathon ye dil kay zakhm bhar hee jaayengay
Jis jagah deepak jalegaa - jis jagah ho raushani
Baat ye tay hai ki parvaanay udhar hee jaayengay
Ek hai apni zameen aur ek hee hai aasmaan
Baat ye gar sab na samajhay to bikhar hee jaayengay
Chaltay chaltay raah mein gar paanv yaaro thak gaye
Raastay kay saath phir hum bhee thehar hee jaayengay
Gar kabhi mushkil padegi raah chunanay mein hamen
Jis taraf tera ishaara ho - udhar hee jaayengay
Laakh tum roko - ginaao laakh iskay aib par
Aaye hain duniya mein to kuchh dekh kar hee jaayengay
Un kay dar pay to rasaai ho na payegi kabhi
Apnay dardo-gam kay naalay be-asar hee jaayengay
Us nagar kee tang see taareek galiyon mein agar
Raaston say bekhabar hongay to dar hee jaayengay
Maut ka dar kyon rahega phir unhen 'Rajan' bhalaa
Jaantay hain jo ki aakhir apnay ghar hee jaayengay

English Translation
If some life is left, the days of sadness will eventually pass.
In the hands of time, the wounds of the heart will finally heal.
The place where the lamp is lit - wherever there is a burning flame -
It is certain that the moths will surely come there.
There is one earth for all - all are under the same sky
If everyone does not understand this - all will be lost - scattered and dispersed.
If our feet get tired while traveling toward the destination
We'll also become dormant like the path itself.
If we ever find it difficult to choose our path
We will go in whichever direction you point us to go.
You may stop us a million times - may recount its million faults
Since we have come to the world, we will leave only after experiencing some things
- (At least we would like to enjoy it)
We have no access to them. We know we can never reach and approach them.
The cries of our pain and sorrow will go unheard - unanswered.
In the narrow and dark streets of that city - of that world
Those who are unaware of the track - will be fearful and lost.
Why would there be fear of death in the minds of those -
who know that they are going back to their home?
