विडंबना - The Irony

कल जो शहर में करता था सांप के काटे का इलाज

आज उसी के तहखाने से सांपों के ठिकाने निकले 

                           " अज्ञात लेखक "

Kal jo Shehar mein karta tha saamp kay kaatay ka ilaaj 

Aaj usi kay tehkhaanay say sampon kay thikanay niklay 

                             " Unknown "

                             English Translation

The man who healed the city of the snake's sting till yesterday,

 Snakes’ nests were found in his own cellar today.

Yesterday, the one who was hailed as the savior of the city—

the one who cured every venomous bite and sting of pain,

a healer who eased the people’s fear and sorrow.

But today, the truth was uncovered—

from the darkness of his own cellar,

emerged the very nests of snakes he claimed to fight and destroy.
