Darshan Aur Pradarshan - Seeing and Showing-off

Darshan mein kami reh jaaye ... to chalegaa
              -  Lekin Pradarshan say zaroor bachnaa

Vandan mein kami reh jaaye ... to chalegaa
                   -  Lekin Bandhan say zaroor bachnaa

Pravachan mein kami reh jaaye ... to chalegaa
                -  Lekin Durvachan say zaroor bachnaa

Shravan mein kami reh jaaye ...to chalegaa
                -  Lekin Ku-Shravan say zaroor bachnaa

Prati-kraman mein kami reh jaaye ... to chalegaa
                 -   Lekin Ati-kraman say zaroor bachnaa

Bhojan ka upvaas naa kar sako ... to chalegaa
                       -     Lekin Kisi ka upahaas mat karnaa

Kesh-Vilochan naa kar sako ... to chalegaa
                       -  Lekin Klesh-Vilochan zaroor karnaa

                         English Translation

If there is a lack of Darshan - It's Okay 
               - But do refrain from Pradarshan - Showing-off

If there is a lack of Vandan - worship Pooja-Paath, and Obeisance - It's okay
                - But do not stay in Bandhan - in bondage and shackles of dogmas and attachment

If there is a lack of Pravachan - speaking, lecturing, preaching, etc. - It's okay 
                 - But stay away from Durvachan - criticism and speaking ill about others

If there is a lack of Shravan - listening to speeches, discourses, and sermons - It's okay
                 - But do refrain from Ku-Shravan - listening to gossip, criticism, and ill about others.

If there is a lack of Prati-Kraman - repetition of a phrase, Mantras, Mool-Mantras, Naam-Simran, etc. - It's okay 
             - But do refrain from Ati-Kraman - encroachment, intrusion, or invasion of other people's rights & territory.

If you can't do Upvaas - fasting -  It's okay 
             - But refrain from Upahaas - making fun of others, insulting, Mocking, Taunting, Ridiculing

If you can't do Kesh-Vilochan - Mundan, shaving of the head as monks do-  It's okay 
             - But must do Klesh-Vilochan - end disputes, conflicts, and quarrels - stop causing distress & trouble to others
