Humility and Modesty

It's easy to forget humility and modesty when someone gets wealth, prestige, power, and influence over people.

These are the things that can easily corrupt anyone and everyone -
because pride, ego, and arrogance also come along with money and power.
Arrogance creates dislikes - aversion and distance and gradually pushes people away.
It's humility - humbleness and politeness - that brings people closer to each other.
Those who want to become strong leaders and effective preachers must develop the virtue of humility in their speech and action.

However, merely humility in speech will not have a long-term effect on people if it is not genuinely present in the heart.
Because a speech only travels from tongue to ears.
It's the purity, honesty, and genuineness that travels from heart to heart.

  1. So true!
Humbleness means an open mind, an inclusive heart, and compassionate behavior.
Arrogance means a closed mind, an aloof heart, and self-centered behavior.

  3. Actions speak louder than words. The mission gives us the opportunity to be humble to be modest yet we squander it away. For true humbleness true humility comes from within and is projected on others.
