Roshan-Minar, Prakash Stambh or Light House:
The tower, which shows the way to boats in the ocean through its light.
In the darkness of the night, a boat - drifting on the tides of the ocean, finds its way, the right direction by following the bright light emitting from a Roshan Minaar or the lighthouse.
But if there is no light in the lighthouse - just a tower standing on the shore of the ocean cannot be called a lighthouse. Even if it is given the name of a Lighthouse, it cannot function as a lighthouse - it can not show the way, the right direction to a stray boat.
That is why the Vedas gave us this Maha Mantra:
Aatm Deepo Bhava:
Become the lamp yourself - ignite the light in your own self.
For yourself, and for others as well - to show them the way - the right direction.
But first, for yourself - and then for others.
If we do not have the light of Gyana kindled within our own mind then how can we give light to anyone else?
Mahatma Buddha also said the same:
Appo Deepo Bhava:
Become your own Light
Kindle the light of Gyana in yourself.
Eliminate doubts, delusions, misconceptions, and remove all darkness from the mind.
There is no need to proclaim - to announce.
If there is a light within us, then it will be visible to all.
Seeing an eminent bright kindled light, the wanderers themselves will move towards it.
Therefore:
