Never Compromise your Principles

        "Softer than the flower, where kindness is concerned;
       Stronger than the thunder where principles are at stake."

Found the above beautiful quote from the ancient Vedic texts of India.

Where kindness is concerned, be softer than the flowers.
But if the principles are at stake, be as strong as the thunder.

Never compromise your principles to please others - to receive some benefits and perks - to acquire a rank or position - or for the sake of recognition and popularity.

People will carry you on their shoulders when they find you beneficial to them.
As long as they continue to benefit from you, they will respect you - carry you on their shoulders.
But they will also drop you in a second if they feel that you are no longer useful to them anymore.

Living with awareness and consciousness - Honesty and integrity are more important than trying to please everyone.
