At the behest of Sri Krishna when Uddhav went to Vrindavan to console and appease the Gopi's
The gopi's said to him -
Samay Samay ki baat re Udho - Samay Samay ki baat
Ek Samay Prabhu hum nay dekhay maang maang dahi khaat
Ab to Krishn bhaye hain raja chadhay sinhaasan jaat
It all depends on time.
There was a time when Lord Krishna used to come to us begging for curd and butter.
Today he is a King - sitting on the royal throne !!
(He doesn't need us or care for us anymore)
With time, everything changes.
When we were young, our elders used to say -
