Why inflict atrocities on others

Ba-Naam-e-Mazhab-o-Millat ye khoon bahaana kya
Hari Hari vo karen - tu Khuda Khuda kiya kar
                                           " Majeed Akhtar "

Why inflict atrocities on others and spill their blood in the name of Mazahab and the community?
Let them sing the praises of Hari or Ishvar, and you can continue saying Khuda or Allah.

It's not wrong to have faith in our beliefs, but at the same time, we should respect others' beliefs as well.
We have no right to condemn or forcibly stop others from believing or following their faith.
