It is said that God made man in His own image

It is said that God made man in His own image.

But, in reality, we believe in a God that is made in the image of man.

We believe in God with the same attributes and qualities as the man - such as jealousy, anger, and favoritism, etc.

What would be the difference between God and man if God also behaves just like a man - jealous and angry - who brings wrath upon those who disobey or do not believe in him? And returns favor to only those who believe in him and obey him - and disowns the others.

In order to find the God that created the universe and everything in it, we have to stop following such a God that is created by man and is limited to time and place - location and human characteristics.

  1. All major religions are playing a big part in spreading this notion that God only helps certain and not the others. People aren't truly "following " God or his teachings, rather they are following other humans with these solidified notion that they are superior than the rest. There are divisions within the religions as well, from Christianity to Islam to Hinduism to Sikhism. Praying for world peace and hoping everyone realizes God to come together as one family.
