Excess is Never Good - Bhalaa na zyaada barasnaa

Na Bhalaa hai zyaada barasnaa, Na bhali hai zyaada dhup

Na bhala hai zyaada bolnaa, na bhali hai ati kee chup 

Adhik pyaar say bachay bigden ati aalas say Svaasth 

Rishtay-naatay,  yaari totay badh jaaye jab Svaarth 

Ati lobh vyopaar bigaaday - krodh bigaaday chain 

Ati chintaa say shaanti na paavay manuva din aur rain 

Adhik chaalaki kho deti hai logon ka vishvaas 

Duvidhaa mein man padaa rahay to kho jati hai aas 

Ati kisi bhee cheez ki duhkh hee deti hai 'Rajan '

Santulit reh kay hee jeevan ban saktaa hai paavan

Ati = Too much, Excessive, in excess, More than required 

   English translation:

                          Excess of anything is Never Good

Neither too much rain is good, nor is too much sun.  

Neither too much talking - nor too much silence and isolation.

Excessive love may spoil a child;  health is weakened by too much laziness

Bonds and friendships break apart when there is too much selfishness.

Excessive greed ruins the business, too much anger destroys peace,

Overthinking steals the calm—its torment doesn't cease.

Too much cunning makes people lose their trust in you,

When the mind is in constant dilemma, all hope slips out of view.

O Rajan, Excess in anything can bring sorrow and strife, 

Balance is the only path to a happy and meaningful life.
