ReplyDeleteWell… that is only if someone can understand the meaning of your silence.
DeleteMost people don’t.
They often mistake your silence for weakness — or assume that by staying quiet, you are silently admitting you were wrong.
I guess there is no win-win situation 🙏
Raising your voice to impose your view on others is a power move. If it’s a false premise, then the voice is often louder.
ReplyDeleteSilence too can be a power move, especially if it’s stretched out over some time. It may be justified if the underlying reason is just and fair.
But caution should be exercised in either case, otherwise it can end up in broken relationships.
