Someone asked a wise man:
What should we do to uplift our society?
The wise man replied:
Hold people's hands to lift them up - instead of pulling their legs to hold them down.
Often, because of the feeling of jealousy buried in our minds, we cannot see others rising up - so in some way or the other, we try to stop them from moving forward. We keep on looking for new ways to keep them under us.
However, to elevate a society, it is essential to uplift every person individually.
Society is made up of people.
Society is nothing in itself - it is the name of a group of people.
Without people, society has no existence of its own.
Therefore, it is impossible to move forward or uplift any society without uplifting its people on their personal level.
If the society is to be improved, instead of pulling the legs of the people - its members and workers - and holding them down, lift them up by holding their hands - and help them to rise even further higher.
Otherwise, our society will also be moving towards decline instead of upliftment.

Noble thought.To lift or help someone on physical realm is certainly a good deed. The elevating of collective spiritual consciousness through simran , seeing the ONE in all and all as ONE is the greatest upliftment that helps each soul evolve and particularly the one doing the simran with the thought, Tera Roop hai ye sansaar sabka bhala karo kartar. ReplyDeleteThe blind race towards fame,wealth,Intellect must stop. Realisation of Nirankar in all can help reducing my thoughts,my ego lapped with Maya and I become a tool of God to do sewa and uplift this society without any discretion.
