Just like the actions, our thoughts can also become the cause of our bondage.
For all the time that we keep ourselves restricted to thoughts, concepts, or rigid ideologies, we keep limiting ourselves for that long.
And the moment mind is devoid of thoughts or becomes thoughtless, that's when one becomes infinite.
The mind is the breeding ground for thoughts, and thoughts, in turn, are the breeding ground for actions (Karma).
If thought is the cause, then actions are the effect.
Whatever may be the thought, good or bad, it keeps us bonded/entangled.
In a calm and immaculate lake, if we throw a stone or a piece of gold, it is bound to create ripples. Larger the stone or piece of gold, the larger will be the magnitude and intensity of the ripples.
The quality of the thing is immaterial - whether it is a stone or a piece of silver or gold.
Similarly, every thought also has its effects on the mind.
If the mind is devoid of thoughts, then only it can stay absolutely calm and immaculate.
But it is extremely difficult - if not impossible - to stay aloof of a single thought or become completely thoughtless.
However, one can try to reduce the flux of thoughts - slowly and steadily with practice.
What is more important is - that if we cannot restrain or get rid of all thoughts completely, then we must at least try not to fall prey and stay bonded to any basic irrelevant futile thoughts.
Therefore, the most significant point to be borne in mind is that one needs to keep the doors and windows of our minds open for the advanced and fresh thoughts to seep into our minds.

Thanks A lot ji. Let me practice to leave atleast old thoughts. Also request to pl correct me if I m wrong. Satguru is always nirvichar (No thouggts )ie Aseem.
ReplyDeleteThank you Harish ji for your comments. However, Satguru is not Nir-vichar - A Satguru can not and should not be Nirvichar -- otherwise he can not guide the world. He must teach/spread his Vichar - his ideology
DeleteThank you so much jiiii๐๐๐
ReplyDeletereally very thoughtful, need to practice for peaceful life....
I think it is almost impossible to get rid of the thoughts. However, we can try and practice to streamline our thoughts towards a right and spiritual direction.

ReplyDeleteWell..I never said that everyone should become thoughtless. All I am saying is that our thoughts bind us... with a particular situation, person, ideology, or action. The conclusion of this article was -- Therefore the most significant point is to keep the doors and windows of our minds open for the fresh thoughts / new ideas to seep into our minds.
