Truth vs Authority

Humans are curious by nature.
As part of our natural instincts we strive to know the Truth. 
So in order to find the Truth, we go to some authority whom we think knows the truth.
However, Instead of finding the Truth, we start believing that the Authority is the Truth 
and we stop exploring any further.
