सर्वेषां स्वस्तिर्भवतु ।

सर्वेषां शान्तिर्भवतु ।

सर्वेषां पूर्णं भवतु ।

सर्वेषां मंगलं भवतु ॥

सबका (हर प्राणी का) भला हो।

सबके जीवन में शांति बनी रहे।

सब के जीवन में पूर्णता हो।

सबके जीवन में आनंद मंगल हो।

When the boat was launched into the water
And it was steered right into the storm
When the vast ocean was thrown a challenge
Then the current or the whirlpool is all the same

When dying is considered a boon - a blessing
And embracing death has been resolved upon
Then victory or defeat is all the same 

When the desire for comfort was abandoned
And the path of spiritual discipline was chosen
When the journey on the path of struggle was undertaken
The flowers or embers are all the same

Having drunk the poison of the world 
When the mind became pure and simple
When one became like Lord Shankar himself
Then ash or adornment is all the same

Translated from original Hindi Poetry by: Harivansh Rai Bachchan 

Hesitant to Praise but Quick to Criticize

We are often too quick to criticize and too slow to appreciate.
When someone says something wise or does something good, we rarely take the time to acknowledge it and often hesitate to praise them by making some excuse.
We don't even want to discuss it or mention it to others.
And when we do feel like sharing something admirable, we hide the person’s name —
as if praising them might somehow diminish us and lower our dignity in front of them.

On the other hand, when someone says or does something we don't like, our response is immediate. We question, criticize, gossip, and amplify it.
As they say: Faults spread faster than virtues.

The New Testament reminds us:
“Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye,
and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
(New Testament - Luke 6:41)

The 15th-century Sant Sant Ren ji expressed the same truth with striking clarity:
"But Beej sum Par-Avgun Jin ko kar to man meru dikhaavay
Meru sum apno avagun Tin ko kar tu But-Beej janaavay
Eem Santan 'Ren' Kahay man syon Par-avagun dhaamp tab-hi Sukh Paavay."*

Meaning: 
"O mind, you magnify the faults of others and present to the world as a mountain even if they are as small as a mustard seed,
And your own faults, even if as large as a mountain, you make them seem as small as a mustard seed.
Thus says Sant ‘Ren’: Only by ignoring and concealing the faults of others can the mind attain peace and true joy."

This wisdom is timeless and universal.
We always magnify the shortcomings of others and minimize our own.
*He further said that the opposite is also true.
We magnify our qualities and good deeds while minimizing the virtues and good deeds of others.
However, peace does not come from reforming others or correcting the world—it comes from reforming ourselves.

Instead of constantly blaming and criticizing others, we should turn our attention inward. 

Our real work lies in observing our own thoughts, refining our own actions, and overcoming our own weaknesses.
Because in the end -
We are responsible only for ourselves, not for others.

प्रशंसा में संकोच - आलोचना में तेज़

हम अक्सर किसी की प्रशंसा करने में संकोच करते हैं लेकिन आलोचना करने में बहुत तेज़ होते हैं।
जब कोई व्यक्ति कोई समझदारी की बात करता है या कुछ अच्छा काम करता है तो हम अक़्सर कोई न कोई बहाना बना कर उसकी प्रशंसा करने से संकोच करते हैं। और उसकी चर्चा भी नहीं करना चाहते। और अगर किसी अच्छी बात की चर्चा करना भी चाहें तो उनका नाम छुपा लेते हैं - जैसे कि उनकी प्रशंसा करने से हमारी अपनी इज़्ज़त कम हो जाएगी और उनके सामने हमारी अपनी गरिमा कम हो जाएगी।
और दूसरी तरफ - जब कोई कुछ ऐसा कहता या करता है जो हमें पसंद नहीं है, तो हम तुरंत सवाल और आलोचना करने लगते हैं, और उसे बढ़ा-चढ़ाकर लोगों को बताने लगते हैं।

कहते हैं कि बुराइयाँ अच्छाइयों से ज़्यादा तेज़ी से फैलती हैं।
बाइबल के अनुसार: -
“तुम्हें अपने भाई की आँख में पड़ा तिनका तो दिखाई देता है,
लेकिन अपनी आँख में पड़े लट्ठे पर ध्यान क्यों नहीं देते?”
(न्यू टेस्टामेंट - ल्यूक 6:41)

15वीं सदी के संत रेन जी ने भी इस बात को इस तरह समझाया : 
"बट बीज सम पर-अवगुण जिनको कर तू मन मेरु दिखावे
मेरु सम अपनो अवगुण तिनको कर तू बट-बीज जनावे
ईम संतन 'रेन' कहे मन स्यों पर-अवगुण ढांप तब-ही सुख पावे"* 
अर्थात;
“हे मन, दूसरों के दोष, चाहे वे बट बीज के समान - सरसों के दाने से भी छोटे हों,
तुम उन्हें दुनिया के सामने पहाड़ जैसा बना कर दिखाते हो।
और पर्वत के समान अपने दोषों को तुम बट बीज अथवा सरसों के दाने से भी छोटा मानते हो।
संत 'रेन' कहते हैं: दूसरों के दोष छिपाकर, उन्हें नज़रअंदाज़ करके ही मन को शांति और सच्चा आनंद प्राप्त हो सकता है।”

यह ज्ञान सार्वभौमिक एवं शाश्वत सत्य है। 
हम हमेशा दूसरों की कमियों को बड़ा करके और अपनी कमियों को कम करके देखते हैं।
संत रेन जी ने आगे कहा कि इसका उल्टा भी सच है।
हम अपनी खूबियों और अच्छे कामों को हमेशा पर्वत जैसा महान करके दिखाते हैं
जबकि दूसरों के गुण - उनके अच्छे विचार और अच्छे कामों को बट बीज के समान कम करके देखते और दिखाते हैं।
लेकिन मन की शांति दूसरों को सुधारने से नहीं — बल्कि स्वयं को सुधारने से प्राप्त होती है।

हमेशा दूसरों को दोष देने और उनकी आलोचना करने के बजाय, हमें अपना ध्यान अपने अंदर मोड़ना चाहिए। 

हमारा काम अपने विचारों को देखना, अपने किरदार को सुधारना और अपनी कमजोरियों को दूर करना है।
क्योंकि अन्ततः तो हम स्वयं अपने लिए ही उत्तरदायी हैं, दूसरों के लिए नहीं।

Wisdom is never borrowed

Wisdom is never borrowed.
What can be borrowed is never wisdom—
It's only knowledge.

Knowledge is transferable; 

It can be received, disseminated, exchanged, and transmitted

It can be learned, taught, and reiterated. 

But not wisdom.

Wisdom is born of experience and contemplation. 

It's internalized and assimilated through self-reflection and judgment.

No one else can bestow it upon you.

विवेक उधार में नहीं मिलता

विवेक बुद्धि उधार में नहीं मिलती। 

जो लिया जा सकता है — वह विवेक नहीं — केवल ज्ञान होता है।

सिर्फ़ शिक्षा होती है। 

ज्ञान का आदान-प्रदान हो सकता है 

शिक्षा हस्तांतरित की जा सकती है—

ग्रहण की जा सकती है, प्रसारित की जा सकती है, उसकी पुनरावृत्त की जा सकती है।

उसे सीखा जा सकता है - सिखाया जा सकता है - दोहराया जा सकता है।

लेकिन विवेक बुद्धि तो अनुभव और मनन से जन्म लेती है 

और आत्मचिंतन द्वारा आत्मसात होती है।

उसे कोई दूसरा प्रदान नहीं कर सकता।

A Lion and a deer - drinking water together

                         A Lion and a Deer -  drinking water together  

 

According to a historic story, once upon a time, King Jambu Lochan of the Dogra dynasty was on a hunting spree.

Upon crossing the Tawi River, he witnessed an extraordinary and unbelievable sight.

On the banks of the Tawi, a lion and a deer were peacefully drinking water together – without any reaction or fear.

Astonished, King Jambu Lochan called his brother Bahu and said,

“Look at this miracle.

These lion and deer are drinking water together at the same spot.

Neither the lion is trying to frighten the deer, nor is the deer afraid of the lion.”

Seeing this scene, King Jambu Lochan felt that the land here was very virtuous and peaceful.

Thinking this, the king decided to establish a city in that place where people of different cultures and ideologies could live together peacefully.

In the ninth century, King Jambu Lochan founded a city across the Tawi River, named Jambupura or Jambu Nagar, which later came to be known as Jammu.

The famous Bahu Fort, on the other side of the Tawi River, was named after King Jambu Lochan's brother Bahu.

                                              2  Second Account or Version

There is another version of the above historical story as well. 

According to another version:

Astonished at this unbelievable scene, King Jambu Lochan called his brother Bahu and said,

“Look at this miracle.

These lion and deer are drinking water together at the same spot.

Neither the lion is trying to frighten the deer, nor is the deer afraid of the lion.

Both are behaving as if the laws of nature do not apply to them.

The Raja sighed and said:

“This is not harmony; this is disorder. 

The lion has forgotten its strength, and the deer has forgotten its instinct. 

When nature’s law is violated even by animals, what can be expected of the people of this land?”

He reflected further and said,

“If the lion here cannot assert itself, and the deer has no regard for the lion, then the people born on this land will also have no respect for elders, no respect for leadership, and no respect for law. Their sense of order is broken; their moral values are confused.”

The Raja then concluded,

“A land where the law of nature is ignored becomes easy to rule. 

People who cannot recognize and respect authority or honour their leaders cannot protect their own rights and freedom. 

Such people can be governed without any resistance.”

Thus, the sight of a lion and a deer drinking together was not a sign of peace for the king, but an insight - a warning—that when respect, hierarchy, and natural balance disappear, society itself begins to decay. 

शेर और बकरी एक घाट पर?

                                                           1 

एक ऐतिहासिक कहानी के अनुसार -  प्राचीन समय में डोगरा वंश के राजा जम्बू लोचन एक बार शिकार करने निकले। 

तवी नदी को पार करने पर उन्होंने एक असाधारण और अविश्वसनीय दृश्य देखा। 

तवी के किनारे पर एक शेर और एक हिरण शांति से - बिना किसी प्रतिक्रिया अथवा भय से एक साथ पानी पी रहे थे। 

हैरान होकर राजा जम्बू लोचन ने अपने भाई बाहु को बुलाया और कहा - 

“यह चमत्कार देखो। 

ये शेर और हिरण एक ही घाट पर एक साथ पानी पी रहे हैं ।

न तो शेर हिरण को डराने की कोशिश कर रहा है और न ही हिरण शेर से डर रहा है। "

इस दृश्य को देख कर राजा जम्बू लोचन को लगा कि यहां की धरती बहुत नेक और शांतिपूर्ण है।  

ऐसा सोच कर राजा ने उस स्थान पर एक ऐसा नगर बसाने का निश्चय किया जहां सभी प्रकार के लोग शांतिपूर्वक ढंग से इकट्ठे मिल कर रह सकें।  

नौवीं शताब्दी में राजा जम्बू लोचन ने तवी नदी के पार अपने नाम पर जम्बूपुरा अथवा जम्बू नगर की स्थापना की जो कालांतर में जम्मू कहलाने लगा। 

तवी नदी के दूसरे किनारे पर बना हुआ प्रसिद्ध बाहू किला राजा जम्बू लोचन के भाई बाहू के नाम पर निर्मित है।

                                                   दूसरा प्रकरण अथवा परिदृश्य 

उपरोक्त ऐतिहासिक कहानी का एक अन्य रुप भी मिलता है। 

एक अन्य धारणा के अनुसार :

हैरान होकर राजा जम्बू लोचन ने अपने भाई बाहु को बुलाया और कहा 

“यह चमत्कार देखो। 

ये शेर और हिरण एक ही घाट पर एक साथ पानी पी रहे हैं 

दोनों ऐसे व्यवहार कर रहे हैं जैसे प्राकृतिक नियम इनके लिए कोई मायने नहीं रखते। 

न तो शेर हिरण को डराने की कोशिश कर रहा है और न ही हिरण शेर से डर रहा है।"

राजा ने एक आह भरी और थोड़ी देर सोचने के बाद कहा -

“यह सद्भाव नहीं है; यह अव्यवस्था है।

शेर अपनी ताकत भूल गया है, और हिरण अपनी सहज प्रवृत्ति भूल गया है।

जब इस देश के जानवर भी प्रकृति के नियम का उल्लंघन कर रहे हैं, तो इस देश के लोगों से क्या उम्मीद की जा सकती है?”

फिर राजा जम्बू लोचन ने निष्कर्ष निकाला :

“अगर यहाँ एक शेर अपना प्रभाव नहीं दिखा सकता - अपनी शक्ति का प्रदर्शन कर के अपने अधिकार को साबित नहीं कर सकता। 

और हिरण के मन में शेर के लिए कोई भी सम्मान और भय नहीं है, तो इस देश में रहने वाले लोगों में भी अपने बड़ों के लिए कोई सम्मान नहीं होगा। 

उनके  ह्रदय में न तो नेतृत्व के लिए कोई सम्मान होगा, और न ही कानून के लिए। 

उनके मन में व्यवस्था के प्रति कोई आस्था नहीं होगी - उनकी नैतिक विचारधारा भी भ्रमित हो चुकी होगी।

जिस देश में प्रकृति के नियमों को नज़रअंदाज़ किया जाता हो, उन का उल्लंघन किया जाता हो उस देश के लोगों पर शासन करना बहुत आसान होता है। 

जो लोग अपने अधिकार को पहचान कर उसका सही ढंग से उपयोग नहीं कर सकते वह अपने देश, अपने लोगों का कोई भला नहीं कर सकते। 

और जो अपने नेताओं का सम्मान नहीं कर सकते, वे अपनी आज़ादी और अधिकारों की रक्षा भी नहीं कर सकते।

ऐसे लोगों पर बिना किसी विरोध और प्रतिरोध के शासन किया जा सकता है।”

राजा जम्बू लोचन के लिए शेर और हिरण का एक साथ पानी पीना शांति का प्रतीक नहीं था, बल्कि एक चेतावनी थी - कि जब सम्मान, पदानुक्रम अथवा पद श्रृंखला (Chain of command) और प्राकृतिक संतुलन समाप्त हो जाते हैं, तो समाज स्वयंमेव ही पतन की ओर अग्रसर होने लगता है।

If everyone copied the leader's daily routine

A question worth reflecting on:

              If everyone copied their leader's daily routines --

If every individual in a society starts to follow the daily routine, habits, and working style of their chosen leader, would society rise or fall? 

Would it evolve, or slowly begin to decline and disintegrate?
Would the lives of those who follow them become better than before?
Would they grow more aware, more responsible, more sensitive?
Or would they become weaker—more dependent, more indifferent, and increasingly insensitive toward others?

Progress is not guaranteed by mere powerful speeches and imitation alone.

The real measure of progress lies in whether such imitation strengthens individual conscience, makes individuals more aware, more responsible, and more sensitive - or does it slowly weaken their moral strength, quietly erode courage, and turn people into passive followers?

A society may appear orderly and disciplined on the surface, yet become hollow from within if people are stopped from questioning, discouraged from thinking independently, and taking inner responsibility for their own choices.

When leadership replaces personal conscience, and imitation replaces insight, society may seem to gain order temporarily - for a short while, but may lose its soul in the process.

Ultimately, the question is not just about leadership.

It's about blind faith - blind imitation and obedience 

The question is: 

To what extent is it justifiable to abandon one's own conscience and inner responsibility in the name of ideology, religion, or loyalty?

एक विचारणीय प्रश्न

एक विचारणीय प्रश्न

यदि हर व्यक्ति हमारी दैनिक दिनचर्या की नकल करने लगे—

यदि समाज का प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने चुने हुए पसंदीदा नेता की दिनचर्या, कार्य-शैली और जीवन-पद्धति का अनुसरण करने लगे—

तो क्या समाज का उत्थान होगा या पतन?

क्या वह समाज विकसित होगा, या धीरे-धीरे गिरावट और विघटन की ओर बढ़ने लगेगा? धीरे-धीरे बिखरने लगेगा?

क्या उनको मानने वालों का जीवन पहले से बेहतर हो जाएगा?

क्या वे अधिक जागरुक, अधिक ज़िम्मेदार और दूसरों के प्रति अधिक संवेदनशील बनेंगे?

या वो पहले से अधिक कमज़ोर, आश्रित और दूसरों पर निर्भर हो कर असंवेदनशील होते चले जाएँगे?

केवल प्रभावशाली भाषणों और अनुकरण मात्र से ही प्रगति सुनिश्चित नहीं होती। 

प्रगति का वास्तविक माप दंड इस बात में निहित है कि किसी नेता का अनुकरण उसके अनुयाइयों को कितना अधिक जागरुक, ज़िम्मेदार और संवेदनशील बनाता है। 

क्या यह लोगों की चेतना - व्यक्तिगत विवेक, उत्तरदायित्व और करुणा को सशक्त और सुदृढ़ करता है ? 

या फिर धीरे-धीरे उनकी नैतिक शक्ति को क्षीण कर देता है और उन्हें महज एक निष्क्रिय अनुयायी बना देता है?

कई बार एक समाज ऊपर से तो बहुत अनुशासित और सुव्यवस्थित दिखता है लेकिन यदि लोगों को प्रश्न करने, स्वतंत्र रुप से सोचने और स्वयं निर्णय लेने से हतोत्साहित किया जाए तो वह धीरे धीरे अंदर से खोखला होता चला जाता है। 

जब नेतृत्व और व्यवस्था - व्यक्तिगत चेतना और विवेक का स्थान ले ले और महज अनुकरण - अंतर्दृष्टि का स्थान ले ले— तो कुछ समय के लिए तो व्यवस्था और अनुशासन कायम हो सकता है लेकिन इस प्रक्रिया में वह समाज अपनी आत्मा को खो बैठता है। 

अंततः प्रश्न केवल नेतृत्व का नहीं है।

प्रश्न है अंध विश्वास का - अंधे अनुकरण का— 

प्रश्न ये है कि विचारधारा या निष्ठा एवं पंथ के नाम पर अपने विवेक और आंतरिक उत्तरदायित्व का त्याग कर देना कहां तक न्यायसंगत है?

अहंकार या आत्मसम्मान? Ego vs Self-respect?

ये अहंकार या घमंड नहीं - 

आत्मसम्मान का सवाल है 

अगर कोई अपना लहजा बदल ले - 

तो हम भी अपना रास्ता बदल सकते हैं !!

This isn't about pride or arrogance – 

It's a matter of self-respect.

If someone changes their attitude,

We can change our path too! 

Chup rehna nahin aata (Why can't I stay silent)

Na jaanay kyon mujhay mehfil mein chup rehna nahin aata
Zamaanay kay ishaaron par mujhay chalnaa nahin aata

Chaashni        = Sugarcoat

Ya'Rab           = O Lord 

न जाने क्यों मुझे महफ़िल में चुप रहना नहीं आता

न जाने क्यों मुझे महफ़िल में चुप रहना नहीं आता

ज़माने  के  इशारों  पर  मुझे  चलना  नहीं  आता 

सचाई को बनावट के बिना कहने की आदत है

डुबो के चाशनी में बात को कहना नहीं आता 

पहाड़ों जैसे दुःख भी झेलते कुछ लोग देखे हैं 

मगर थोड़ा सा दुःख या'रब मुझे सहना नहीं आता 

उन्हें देखो जिन्हें दो वक़्त खाना भी नहीं मिलता

हमें सब कुछ मिला है पर शुकर करना नहीं आता

हमें भी शानो शोहरत मिल तो सकती थी ज़माने में

उसूलों से मगर  'राजन' हमें गिरना नहीं आता

ज्ञान एवं विवेक के मोती

अशांत - भीड़ भाड़ और शोरोगुल से भरा जीवन उन लोगों को ही अच्छा लगता है जो नेतृत्व करना चाहते हैं  -

जो अपने और दूसरों के जीवन और आस पास के परिवेश को अपने नियंत्रण में रखना चाहते हैं।

Crowds and noise attract those who seek control.

A life surrounded by restless crowds and constant noise may appear desirable to those who wish to lead—

To control the lives of others and dominate their surroundings.

But just as pearls are found only in still and deep waters,
Wisdom and insight are revealed only in the depths of a calm and silent mind.

In the good old days, I wrote this poem for my son at the time of his graduation.

Believe in yourself.

Whenever the sun recedes

The darkness invades.

The world becomes invisible.

And it seems you are left alone.

Then dive within.

Behold, your path is well lit.

The eternal light is within you.

Whenever friendships fade

And relatives evade

And assistance abate.

Blame not your fate.

Look at your own hands.

Reinvigorate yourself.

The power is within you.

Whenever dreams collapse, and plans tumble

Pessimism and negativity prevail.

Seems all is lost.

Take a brush and repaint the rainbow.

You are the person - you have the character.

The creativity is within you.

When projections are bleak

And opinions are dismal.

Doubts and cynicism resound.

You still have the faith

You can move the mountain.

The divinity is within you.

So live your life up to the brim

Create your own destiny.

Reach your potential.

Know yourself.

Master yourself.

जीवन में जब द्वन्द बढ़ने लगे

जीवन में जब द्वन्द बढ़ने लगे 

हृदय जब दुःखों से बिखरने लगे    

तो लेना प्रभु का सहारा प्रिये 

दर उसका खुला है खुला ही रहेगा 

तुम्हारे लिए   -   सभी के लिए 

जीवन निरर्थक जो लगने लगे 

भर जाए मन में इक गहरी निराशा 

फैला हो चारों तरफ ही अँधेरा 

न आए नज़र धुंधली सी भी आशा  

पाओं अगर लड़खड़ाने लगें 

छाया से भी घबराने लगें 

तो लेना प्रभु का सहारा प्रिये 

वो करुणा का सागर दया ही करेगा 

तुम्हारे लिए -  सभी के लिए 

जो है अनादि अनंत वही है 

जिसने बनाया ये ब्रह्मांड सारा 

वो ही रचयिता वही कर्ता धर्ता

वही एक है सब का पालनहारा 

करो उसका चिंतन - चिंता को छोड़ो 

सुमिरन में 'राजन' मन अपना जोड़ो 

रखना जला के श्रद्धा के दिए 

दयालु है वो तो दया ही करेगा 

तुम्हारे लिए -  सभी के लिए

 (बहर, तर्ज़ -- कोई जब तुम्हारा ह्रदय तोड़ दे - तब तुम मेरे पास आना प्रिये )

द्वन्द = संघर्ष, टकराव, कलह, अव्यवस्था, विशृंखलता, अशांति Conflicts, Disorder, Disarray, confusion, etc.

Jeevan mein jab dvand badhnay lagay 

Hriday jab duhkhon say bikharnay lagay 

To lena Prabhu ka sahaara 'Priye 

Dar Us ka khula hai khula hee rahega 

Tumharay liye - Sabhi kay liye 

Jeevan nirarthak jo lagnay lagay 

Bhar jaye man mein ik gehari niraasha 

Phailaa ho chaaron taraf hee andhera 

Na aaye nazar dhundhali see bhee aasha 

Paon agar ladkhadaanay lagen 

Chhaaya say bhee ghabaraanay lagen

Vo karuna ka saagar kripa hee karega

Sabhi kay liye 

Jo hai Anaadi - Anant vahi hai 

Jis nay banaaya ye brahmaand saara

Karo us ka chintan - chintaa ko chhodo 

Sumiran mein 'Rajan' man apnaa jodo 

Rakhnaa jala kay shraddha kay diye 

Dayaalu hai Vo to daya hee karega

                    English translation:

When conflicts multiply in life 

When the heart begins to shatter with sorrow

Then take refuge in the Lord, my dear,

Seek refuge in the Eternal, my dear—

His door is open and will always remain open

For you - for everyone.

When life seems meaningless,

When the heart is filled with deep despair 

When darkness surrounds you on all sides 

And not even a glimmer of hope is visible 

When steps begin to tremble 

And you fear even your own shadow—

Then take refuge in the Eternal Lord, my dear,

He is an ocean of compassion. He will surely show mercy

For you - for everyone.

That which is beginningless is also endless 

(the True Reality)

Who created this entire universe 

He is the creator, the sustainer,

He alone is the provider of all. 

Meditate on Him - leave your worries behind,

O 'Rajan'- Connect your mind to Him in Sumiran, 

And keep the lamps of faith burning 

He is merciful. He will surely show mercy

For you - for everyone.

निज़ाम-ए-मैकदा - The Broken System

निज़ाम-ए-मैकदा बिगड़ा हुआ है इस क़दर साक़ी 

उसी को जाम मिलता है जिसे पीना नहीं आता

Nizaam-e-maikada bigadaa hua hai is qadar saaqi  

Usi  ko jaam miltaa hai jisay peena nahin aata

English translation:

The order of the tavern has fallen into such disarray that the goblet is handed to those who do not even know how to drink. 

                                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 

It's an ironic couplet on misplaced merit and a broken system. 

What was once a space of discernment and grace now rewards arrogance and aggressiveness.

When the order of the tavern collapses, the cup finds its way not to the worthy, but to those who neither understand its value nor know how to drink from it. 

The verse quietly mourns a broken system—a world where positions, honors, and opportunities are granted not by worth or wisdom, but by accident, favoritism, or to those who aggressively demand and make a noise. 

Merit is overlooked, talent is ignored, and the sacred act of drinking is reduced to mere possession of the cup. 

Those who have thirst, patience, and understanding are left waiting. 

साथ बना रहे Year is changing - Not the Bond
