just in the last year alone?
So - No one should complain that they were stuck at their home for the whole year - that they were not able to go anywhere because of the lockdown.
We thought we were stationary but in fact, we have taken a ride along with the earth and traveled a great distance in space - without even realizing - without feeling that we were moving at over 60,000 miles (110,000 km) per hour speed.
As per Bhagavad Geeta: This is Action in Non-action - and Non-action in Action.
We sleep in our bed at night and after hours of sleep - we wake up in the same bed in the morning.
Bhagavad Geeta says: a Sthitpragna Gyani knowingly - consciously lives in this state of mind.
He can stay calm and stable in the middle of chaos and turmoil - that is Non-action in Action.
And alternatively, he could be performing a lot of action while seemingly being non-active - or by not doing anything at all.

As per Bhagavad Geeta: This is Action in Non-action - and Non-action in Action.
We sleep in our bed at night and after hours of sleep - we wake up in the same bed in the morning.
We did nothing but sleep, and yet, there was so much action and movement during the hours of non-action on our part. We had traveled millions of miles along with the earth - without intentionally moving even an inch from our place.
This may be called Action in Non-action.
If we look at the same scenario from another angle, there was so much action - movement at such a high speed, and yet we feel as if we were stationary - totally inactive.
We can call it Non-action while in Action.
This happens to us all the time - unknowingly - without realizing - without our knowledge.
Knowingly - intentionally and consciously going into the mode of Non-action in Action - is the way and quality of Gyanis - the enlightened ones.

ReplyDeleteAction in non action or vice versa are the way of looking at above example... Still you have stated that Non Action in action is the quality of Gyaani whereas both states are same in the example given. Can you clarify Rajan Jee?

ReplyDeleteAction in non action or vice versa, both appear to be same in above example as the way we look at it. Yet you have stated that Non action in Action is the quality of Gyaanis.. Can you clarify a bit more as both states are same
