Mohabbat - Love

Please scroll down for Roman script and English translation

Mohabbat ho to jaati hai Mohabbat kee nahin jaati
Ye sholaa khud bhadak uthataa hai badkaayaa nahin jaata

Mohabbat kay liye kuchh khaas dil makhsoos hotay hain
Ye vo naghmaa hai jo har saaz pay gaayaa nahin jaata

Mohabbat asal mein 'Makhmoor' vo raaz-e-haqeeqat hai
Samajh mein aa gayaa hai aur samjhaayaa nahin jaata
                                    " Makhmoor Dehalvi "

Love just happens - it is not designed or evoked.
This fire flares up on its own - it is not built or produced.

There are some special hearts reserved for love -
This is a song that is not sung on every instrument.

Makhmoor says - love, in fact, is such a secret
that can be understood - but can not be explained.

Makhsoos  = Reserved, Chosen, Specific, Special, Distinguished

    "If equal affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me."
