Belief vs Knowledge

When we hear something over and over again - a few hundred or thousand times, we start believing it.
And when we hear a different and opposite logic a few hundred times, our belief changes and starts to shatter.
However, the belief, which comes from personal experience, becomes knowledge, and it can not be shattered or weakened. Therefore, instead of getting swayed by other people's precepts, or rumors, wise people trust their own experience and act accordingly.

  2. So what to do with the so called "Holy Books" ?? They were written in different times and who knows what kind of people. Why a person is so weak that he/she can not learn from their own life ?? why the hell you have to back to books buried within graveyard to guide us and our lives ???

    1. Why do we read the history of old times and dead people?
Why do they teach old history in schools? ... About Alexander and other dead people and dead nations?
History is to learn from and advance your knowledge further.
Can a person learn everything from his/her own experiences only? Without knowing anything about what has been discovered and invented before? Can we leave a newly born child in the jungle and let him learn everything from his own life's experience? We learn most things in life from what others have experienced and discovered.
But then again, no one is forcing anyone to read the Holy Scriptures. It's the choice of each individual either to read and learn from them or to discard and not bother about them at all. Reading the Holy Scriptures has never been mandatory in India.
To read and learn from the ancient scriptures to enhance your knowledge is your personal choice.
However, I can say that I have learned a lot from them, and the more I read, I find more and more depth in them. But again, this is my opinion and my experience. Your experience might be different, and I respect that.
      Thanks.
