Nadi Aur Saagar -- River and the Ocean

Yugon yugon say parvaton say nadiyaan behti aayi hain
Chattaanen bhee Raastaa in ka Na rok paayi hain
Naachati uchhalti - aur shor machaati huyi
Apnaa raasta ye khud-ba-khud banaati aayi hain

Dekhnay mein Tuchchh say - Kshudra dhaar neer kay
Par veer say - adheer say - patthron ko cheer cheer kay
Alhaad naad kartay huye aagay hee badhtay rahay
Thakay nahin rukay nahin - badhtay rahay chaltay rahay

Aur jo mila us ko bhee apnay saath hee letay rahay
Badhtay raho chaltay raho - sandesh ye detay rahay

Phir chhotay chhotay naalay mil kay ban gayi vishaal nadi
Charchaa saagar ki sun kay - Saagar say milnay chal padi
Aur parvaton say utar kay maidaan mein vo aa gayi
Junglon mein, kheton mein aur khalihaano mein chhaa gayi
Phailaav us ka badh gayaa vishaaltaa badhnay lagi
Tod kay apnay kinaaray bhee kabhi behnay lagi

Par jaisay jaisay saagar kay nazdeek vo aati gayi
Udveg kam honay lagaa aur chanchalta jaati rahi
Chaal dheemi ho gayi - aur shor bhi kam ho gayaa
Khatm ho gayaa uchhlnaa, Lehzaa naram ho gayaa

Dekhaa jab Saagar ko saamnay - Nistabdh ho gayi
Jaanay kya huaa ki Vaani bhee Nishabd ho gayi
Saagar kee lehron mein "Rajan' - is tarah vo kho gayi
Doob kay Saagar mein dekho - Svayam Saagar ho gayi

For ages, rivers have flowed down from the mountains.
Even rocks could not obstruct their path.
Dancing, leaping, and roaring aloud,
They have carved their own way forward.

Though they appeared insignificant—mere tiny streams,
Yet, brave and restless, they split rocks apart.
While singing joyously, they surged forward,
Neither tiring nor halting, always moving forward.

Embracing and carrying along whatever came their way,
Continued their journey, spreading the message:
""Keep going, keep flowing. - Keep moving forward."

Tiny streams united to form a vast river,
Hearing tales of the ocean, it set out to meet it.

Descending from the mountains, it reached the plains,
Spreading through forests, fields, and meadows.
Its expanse grew vast, and grandeur multiplied,
Sometimes breaking its own banks to flow high and wide.

But as it approached the ocean,
Its anxiety reduced, and its fervor subsided.
The pace slowed down, and the roar softened,
The leaps ceased, and its tone mellowed.

When faced the vast ocean, it became stunned,
Struck by astonishment it became speechless.
Silently merging into the waves of the ocean,
Sank in the sea, and it too became the Ocean itself.
