ReplyDeleteThere is a rather common phrase that I have heard numerous times in my life :
"If many people are jumping off a cliff, will you blindly join them?"
Without even requiring any critical thinking, the answer to this is always no.
Yet, this is exactly what is happening daily in numerous people's lives without them knowing. It is always easy to follow someone else in their path, but without doing our own analysis and thinking, we may end up in a destination that is not suited for us. Although it may take some time and effort to apply the principles of critical thinking, it will always lead us on a better path.

ReplyDeleteIn decision making, notwithstanding area/matter, P(pause) R(reflect) G(go) approach stands to pay off rich dividends. Otherwise,"Herd Mentality" is an established norm n practice despite of the fact it's fraught with adverse consequences.
