सदियों से आता था छत पे हमारी For centuries, it came to our roof

सदियों से आता था छत पे हमारी 

कल चाँद की छत पे हम भी जा उतरे 

चेहरे पे उसके हैं क्यों दाग़ काले 

देखें छुपा है क्या आँचल में उसके 

(ये)जिज्ञासा मानव को ले गई वहां तक 

भारत के सपने हुए 'राजन '  पूरे 

            " राजन सचदेव "

Sadiyon say aataa tha chhat pay hamaari  

Kal Chaand ki chhat pay hum bhi jaa utray

Chehray pay uskay hain kyon daag kaalay

Dekhen chhupaa hai kya aanchal me uskay 

(Ye) Jigyaasa  Maanav ko lay gayi vahaan tak

Bharat  kay sapnay huye 'Rajan' pooray

Yesterday, we landed on the roof of the moon

Why are there black spots on its face?

What is there - that is hidden in its garments? 

This curiosity has taken the man up there
