In the Waves of Emotions and Passion - Jazbaat-o-Junoon ki lehron mein

                                      (Scroll down for English Translation)

Aqsar ham Jazbaat-o-Junoon kee Lehron mein beh jaatay hain
Kuchh Bemaani Rasm-o-Rivaayat mein bandh kay reh jaatay hain

Kyon logon ki baaten sun kay dil dheri ho jaata hai
Kyon sapnon kay mehal hamaray ik pal mein dheh jaatay hain

Jangal mein khalihaanon mein ab farq nahin dikhtaa koyi
Insaanon kay haathon say hee ab saray deh jaatay hain

Kehtay hain Paigaam Aman ka lay kay jayengay - to phir
Kyon haathon mein khanzar aur talvaaren geh geh jaatay hain

Jeevan mein kuchh duhkh ki ghadiyaan bhi aqsar aa jaati hain
Koyi Ro kar kaaten - koyi hans hans kay seh jaatay hain

Jin Bachon kay dil mein ham bachpan mein dar bhar detay hain
Vo Bacchay phir jeevan bhar kuchh Sehmay say reh jaatay hain

Kehnay vaalay jo man aaye - Bin Sochay keh jaatay hain
Dhanya magar hain 'Rajan' jo khamoshi say seh jaatay hain
                                                  " Rajan Sachdeva  "

                                     English Translation

We often get carried away by the waves of emotions and passion -
And we tend to remain bound in some meaningless rituals.

Why do we get disheartened listening to other people's views?
Why do our castles of dreams collapse instantaneously?

There is no difference left between forests and barns anymore.
All are being burnt by the hands of humans these days.

They say that they are going to do a Peace March - will bring the message of peace -
Then why are they carrying daggers and swords in their hands?

Sad, unhappy, and painful moments frequently come in everyone's life.
Some devour it crying - some bear it laughing.

The children in whose hearts we plant some kind of fear in their childhood
They always remain timid and fearful throughout their lives.

Some people can say whatever comes to their mind - without thinking.
But blessed are the ones who can bear it silently.
