A gift does not always have to be a thing or a materialistic object.
Love, care, and respect are also fabulous gifts.
You can make your friends and relationships happy and delighted simply by giving them some of your precious time - just by asking about their welfare, etc.
Remember, more than the presents, it's the presence that counts.

ReplyDeleteCompletely agree presence or ‘being there’ is also a gift.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing Uncle ji. I have often thought about how a few seconds of presence is much more valuable than a gift. For example, I love it when a friend thinks of me out of the blue and sends a message. It tells me how they took time out of their day to write to me or give me a call.
ReplyDeleteSo true... I think everyone feels haapy to get a personal message from friends or relatives - knowing that they are thinking of them.
