Elephant and the Lion cub




A lioness and her cub were crossing the Savannah desert. The heat was excessive, and the cub was having great difficulty walking. An elephant realized that the lioness could not carry her cub and that the cub would die and carried the cub in his trunk to a pool of water - walking beside the lioness. 
We call them wild animals. But incidences like these show that they do have empathy too.
Do we try to help other fellow-beings who may need some help - especially knowing that they cannot do anything for us in return?  
Bhagavad Geeta says: do your Karma - help others without expecting anything in return. 
Share what you have. May it be money, power, strength, or knowledge. 
Remember: Giving or Sharing is a significant component of the divine path.
