If you want to stay Happy- Give up the desire for Praise

If you want to stay happy all the time, then give up the desire to hear your praise all the time.
Because no one is ever appreciated and praised all the time.
People start cursing even God if something goes wrong - where do we stand?
What is so special about us?

No matter what, people will always say something - it's their business to say something about everything.
So, regardless of what people say, keep moving forward on the path of righteousness - and continue to work for the sake of Truth - with respect, honor, and honesty.
As the Bhagavad Geeta says:
                   Atmanyeva Atmanah Tushtah (BG 2-55)
Live your life being content and satisfied with yourself.

The joy in being content - satisfied and happy with yourself is better than getting the praise from a few worldly people. Because those who are praising you today will also start criticizing and condemning you tomorrow for something that they don't like.
Therefore, the Brahm-Gyani saints always remain happy by focusing on Almighty Nirankar - and ignoring praise and criticism both.

It reminds the words of Mahatria: Two definite things to remain unhappy, 1. To make everyone happy and 2. To be happy with everyone. Both of them are impossible.
    Thanks & regards,

  4. I have often wondered how it is that every man loves himself more than all the rest of men, but yet sets less value on his own opinions of himself than on the opinions of others. Marcus Aurelius
