Delete"Michhami Dukkadam" is heartfelt mantra amongst Jains seeking forgiveness and forgiving in similar vein thereby re setting spiritual button. It's equivalent of "let go". As we part with leftovers, on this pious day community of Jains indulges in clearing air, lightening emotional load while seeking self-realization n emphatic compassion. On the other hand, Ganesha Chaturthi is pious Hindu festival during Bhadra. It cannots "new begining"
ReplyDeleteCongratulations one and all on two-in-one happy pious occasion.

ReplyDeleteThe art of asking for forgiveness is truly not easy. Yet, if we can find a way to conquer our Ego ( the feeling which tells us that we are right and others are at fault ) then we eliminate the anchor of negativity , allowing us to thrive.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I am in a situation where I believe I am right and that the other person should apologize, I ask myself , "Is the satisfaction of being correct worth more than my relationship, connection or bond with this person?" The answer is always no.
It is our Ego that satisfies our mind, but it is our willingness to surrender this Ego that satisfies our soul.
Thank you for sharing Ji!
