THE BIGGEST GATHERING OF HUMANITY ON THE PLANET EARTH IS THE LARGEST RELIGIOUS GATHERING OF HINDUS* ~~ Khalid Umar It’s pure joy and ecstasy. NO ANIMAL SACRIFICES, NO BLOODSHED,

NO UNIFORM, NO VIOLENCE, NO POLITICS,

NO CONVERSIONS, NO SECTS, NO SEGREGATION,

NO TRADE, NO BUSINESS. IT’S HINDUISM.

(In addition, there is absolutely no concern about caste or class—people from both upper and lower classes, as well as the so-called upper and lower castes, all take the holy bath together in the same water, side by side)*. Nowhere else HUMANS ever congregate(d) for a single event in such a number; be that religious, sports, war, funeral, or festivity. It’s always been the KUMBH mela and this year it’s Maha Kumbh, which is celebrated every 144 years. The world looks with awe at the statistics; 400 million people over 44 days, over 15 million taking the holy dip on the first day, a temporary city across 4,000 hectares, 150,000 tents, 3,000 kitchens, 145,000 restrooms, with 40,000 security personnel, 2,700 AI-enabled cameras, etc. These are mind-boggling statistics but that is not what makes me wonder. MY AWE IS NOT ABOUT MATERIALISM, STATISTICS, OR PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF THIS EVENT.. It’s not about what our eyes can see. It’s not about size or numbers. What amazes me is (what we call ancient) knowledge of humanity’s connection with the universe. It amazes me that its rituals are performed with reference to the alignment, positioning, and timing of the celestial bodies in the heavens signifying human relationship with the Cosmos and its physical and spiritual effect on human destiny and future. It has no power structure or political polity driving it. It’s indigenous to the faith. It’s not about an organized religion. It’s not about a hierarchy. This Hindus Dharma’s understanding of the humanity’s relationship with the universe, from vegetation (under our feet) to the stars (in the milky way) is an evidence of the advanced knowledge in Hinduism which has extraterrestrial roots & connections. The meditating Sadhus’ consciousness is able to reach frontiers beyond space & time. It breaks the illusion of duality of me & the universe. BEYOND MATERIAL SCIENCE I think today’s space travel through rockets is a primitive technology. Our physical bodies are not us. We don’t need to physically travel anywhere as once we understand that we are souls having a physical experience, from localised particles, we become infinite, part of the whole, present everywhere, as entangled particles exhibit; distance and time barriers lose existence. When we become pure consciousness; part of the divine light; timeless and formless. It’s the awe when Sadhus of Himalayas and Quantum mechanics take a holy dip together in the vast ocean of knowledge. It’s not enough to say that Hinduism is aligned with nature. There is no duality; it’s nature itself. Being a Hindu is coming back to your natural state. Nature is Hindu !! 💐

                काटे चाटे स्वान के दोउ भांति विपरीत

रहीम कहते हैं कि ओछे लोगों से न वैर करना ठीक है और न ही प्रेम।

जैसे एक स्वान अर्थात कुत्ता अगर क्रोध में होगा तो अपने दांतों से आप की टाँग पकड़ कर काट लेगा

और अगर प्रेम करेगा तो आपका मुँह चाट लेगा।

दोनों ही बातें आप के लिए ठीक नहीं हैं। 

अर्थात दोनों तरह से आप का ही नुकसान है।

इसलिए बुरी नियत रखने वाले लोगों से दूर रहना ही अच्छा है। 

Neither enmity nor friendship ... Vair Bhalaa na Preet

        Rahiman Ochhay Naran syon Vair Bhalaa na Preeet

        Kaatay Chaatay Swaan kay, Dou Bhaanti Vipreet 

Neither enmity nor friendship is wise with mean-spirited people.

A dog may bite you in anger or lick your face in affection—

Both scenarios are undesirable and harmful.

Rahim says it is neither wise to be enemies with mean-spirited people nor to befriend them.

He gives an example of a dog—

If the dog gets angry, it will bite your leg 

And if it shows affection, it will lick your face.

Neither action is good for you.

In other words, both situations ultimately cause you harm. 

Therefore, it is better to stay away from those with bad intentions.

Ram Nam Sukh det hai -- Ram's Name is always Blissful

The Name of Ram – The name of Hari, Ishwar, or Prabhu, 

however it is taken, is always useful and blissful.

Whether someone chants it out of devotion and love, or out of compulsion –
in times of joy or in states of sorrow and despair –
The fruits of devotion are inevitably reaped.
Just as a seed, whether sown upright or upside down in the soil,
When the time comes, it naturally sprouts and bears fruit.

राम नाम सुख देत है रीझ भजो या खीझ

                      राम नाम सुख देत है रीझ भजो या खीझ 

                      ज्यों धरती महिं उगवै  उल्टा सीधा बीज 

राम का नाम - हरि ईश्वर प्रभु का नाम जैसे भी लिया जाए, सुखदाई ही होता है। 

चाहे कोई रीझ के अर्थात प्रेमवश भजे या मजबूरी से - 

सुख में भजे या दुःख एवं निराशा की अवस्था में - 

भक्ति का फल अवश्य ही मिलता है 

जैसे धरती में बीज को सीधा डालो या उल्टा - 

समय आने पर वह बीज स्वयं ही पनपने और फल देने लगता है।

पुराने साल की नसीहत - नए साल की ज़रुरत

ये जाते हुए पुराने साल की नसीहत भी तुम हो  

और आने वाले हर इक साल की ज़रुरत भी तुम हो    (तुम = निरंकार ईश्वर)

कि जो तौफ़ीक़ रखते हैं बना लें Resolution वो       (सामर्थ्य, Capability)

मैं इक अदना सा बंदा हूँ - मेरी हैसीयत भी तुम हो 

सिरफ़ कुछ ख़ास दिन और पल मुक़द्दस मानते हैं लोग   (पवित्र, Auspicious)

मगर मेरे लिए हर काम का मुहूरत भी तुम हो

नज़र आता है जो  वो सब तुम्हारा रुप ही तो है  

छुपी रहती है जो परदे में वो हक़ीक़त भी तुम हो 

जिसे कहते हैं मिथ्या वो भी तेरा अक़्स ही तो है 

जगत माया है लेकिन माया की असलीयत भी तुम हो 

तुम्हारे नूर से रौशन है ख़लकत का हर इक ज़र्रा 

तुम्हीं ख़ालिक़ भी हो क़ादिर भी हो और क़ुदरत भी तुम हो 

तुम्हीं से ही शुरु हो कर तुम्हीं पर ख़त्म हो जाए

तुम्हीं आग़ाज़ हो ख़लक़त का और क़यामत भी तुम हो

मेरी दुनिया तुम्हीं से है - तुम्हीं हो मेरा मुस्तक़बिल       (भविष्य)

मेरे इस लोक और परलोक की अहमीयत भी तुम हो  (महत्ता Importance)

तुम्हीं हो हमसफ़र मेरे - तुम्हीं हो हमनवा मेरे  

मेरी दौलत भी तुम ही हो मेरी वसीयत भी तुम हो 

ये इल्म-ओ-फ़न ये ज़हानत - सभी तेरी इनायत हैं     (इल्म, कला,सोच-विचार)

मेरी फितरत, मेरा किरदार, मेरी क़यादत भी तुम हो     (मार्ग-दर्शन)

सकून-ए-दिल तुम्हीं से है तुम्हीं दिल का सहारा हो 

मेरी अज़मत तुम्हीं से है - मेरी मसर्रत भी तुम हो      (प्रतिष्ठा) (प्रसन्नता) 

तेरी रहमत से ही तो कट रही है ज़िंदगी साहिबा

हर इक मुश्किल का हल भी तुम दुखों में राहत भी तुम हो 

तुम्हारे करम से ही ज़िंदगी है खुशनुमा 'राजन'

मेरी मंज़िल भी तुम ही हो मेरी अक़ीदत भी तुम हो    (श्रद्धा)

तौफ़ीक़               = सामर्थ्य, Capability क्षमता

अदना                 = मामूली, सामान्य Ordinary 

हैसियत               = ताक़त, शक्ति, सामर्थ्य, योग्यता Ability  Capacity, Status  

मुक़द्दस               = पवित्र, Auspicious

अक़्स                  = छाया, प्रतिछाया Image 

ख़लकत             = सृष्टि, संसार Universe 

आग़ाज़              = प्रारम्भ, शुरुआत  Beginning 

क़यामत            =   प्रलय, The End 

मुस्तक़बिल       =  भविष्य, Future 

अहमियत          = महत्ता, महत्वपूर्ण  Importance

इल्म                 =  ज्ञान, समझ Knowledge 

फ़न                 = कला, हुनर Talent 

ज़हानत           =  बुद्धि, सोच-विचार 

क़यादत          =  मार्ग-दर्शन, Leadership 

अज़मत           =  सम्मान, प्रतिष्ठा, इज़्ज़त 

 मसर्रत           =   प्रसन्नता, ख़ुशी 

अक़ीदत         =   श्रद्धा 

Naya Puraana Saal -- Review of old and the New Year

Ye jaatay huye puranay saal kee Naseehat bhi Tum ho 

Aur aanay waalay har ik saal kee Zarurat bhi Tum ho 

Ki jo Taufeeq rakhtay hain banaa len resolution vo 

Main ik adnaa saa banda hoon - meri haiseeyat bhi Tum ho 

Siraf kuchh khaas din aur pal Muqaddas maantay hain log  (Auspichious) 

Magar meray liye har kaam ka muhoorat bhi Tum ho 

Nazar aata hai jo vo sab tumhaaraa roop hee to hai 

Chhupi rehti hai jo parday mein vo Haqeeqat bhi Tum ho 

Jisay kehtay hain Mithyaa vo bhi Tera Aqs hee to hai 

Jagat Maaya hai lekin Maaya ki Asleeyat bhi Tum ho 

Tumharay Noor say raushan hai khalqat ka har ik zarra 

Tumhin Khaaliq bhi ho qaadir bhi ho aur qudarat bhi Tum ho

Tumheen say hee shuru ho kar tumheen par khatm ho jaaye 

Tumheen Aagaaz ho khalqat ka aur qayaamat bhi Tum ho

Meri duniya Tumhin say hai - Tumhin ho mera mustaqbil    (Future) 

Meray is Lok aur Parlok kee Ehmeeyat bhi Tum ho               (importance) 

Tumhin ho hamsafar meray - Tumhin ho hamnavaa meray 

Meri daulat bhee tum hee ho meri vaseeyat bhi Tum ho

Ye ilm-o-fun, ye zehaanat - sabhi Teri inaayat hain           (Talent, Wisdom) 

Meri Fitrat, mera kirdaar, meri qayaadat bhi Tum ho           (Guidance) 

Sakoon-e-dil Tumhin say hai Tumhin dil ka Sahaara ho 

Meri Azamat Tumhin say hai - meri Masarrat bhi Tum ho 

Teri Rehmat say hee to kat rahi hai zindgi Saahiba' 

Har ik mushkil ka hal bhi tum, dukhon mein raahat bhi Tum ho

Tumharay karam say hee zindgi hai khushnuma 'Rajan'

Meri Manzil bhee Tum hee ho meri Aqeedat bhi Tum ho

Naseehat            = Advice

Taufeeq              = Capacity, Capability, 

Adanaa               = Ordinary, Insignificant 

Haisiyat             = Worth, Capability, Status, Position, etc.

Muqaddas         = Auspicious

Aqs                      = Image

Khalqat              = Universe

Aagaaz               = Beginning 

Qayaamat          = End, Dooms day

Mustaqbil          = Future 

Ehmiyat             = importance

Ilm                      = knowledge, Wisdom 

Fun                     = Talent

Zehaanat           =  Thought, Intelligence, Understanding

Qayaadat           = Guidance, Leadership 

Azmat                 = Respect, Prestige, Significance, Honor, Glory, etc.

Masarrat            = Happiness

Aqeedat              =  Faith, Reverence, Deep Devotion

You are the wisdom of the departing year,
And the need of every year to come.

Those who possess the strength can make resolutions,
I am but a humble being — my worth is only in You.

Some consider only special days and moments to be sacred,
But for me, every act's auspiciousness is You.

Everything visible is but Your form,
And the Truth hidden behind the veil is also You.

Even what is called Maya, an illusion - is a reflection of You,
The world is Maya indeed - but the essence of Maya is also You.

Every atom of creation shines with Your light,
You are the Creator, the Sustainer, and the Nature as well.

You are the Beginning - You are the ending,
You are the origin of creation and the end of times.

My world exists because of You — my destiny is also You,
The significance of both this world and the hereafter is also You.

You are my companion — You are my confidant,
You are my wealth, and my inheritance is You.

This knowledge, art, and intellect — all are Your blessings,
My nature, my character, my guidance — all are from You.

The peace of mind comes from You; You are my heart’s support,
My honor comes from You - (whatever I am, is due to You) my joy is also You. 

It is Your mercy that carries my life onward, my Lord,
You are the solution to every trouble and the solace in sorrow.

नादान कह रहे हैं "नया साल मुबारक़ हो "
