“Life is simple. Everything happens for you, not to you. Everything
happens at exactly the right moment, neither too soon nor too late. You
don't have to like it... it's just easier if you do.”
– Byron Katie
“Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.”
– C. S. Lewis
Very nice quotes !!!
ReplyDeleteI had a question regarding something----
Today, in my class a student, allergic to perfume/cologne etc., had to stand out of the class for the whole time, just because someone in the class had bathed in some perfume/cologne. The teacher was in the class and there were no comments or request by the teacher during the class.
As the class ended I was curious about "why the teacher was silent?"
At the end of the class, the teacher commented by saying (these are not the exact words said) these kind of situations create a "dilemma."
Dilemma - To what extent a teacher can ask the rest of the class to resist from doing something that effects a disabled person.
For example, if someone is allergic to the smell of peanut, then it seems very unreasonable to ask the rest of the class to not eat peanuts before coming to class. But on the other hand, a child is not able to get the education he/she paid for.
All Comments are welcomed !!!
