Comparing with others:
If we are always comparing ourselves with others, we will either suffer from ego or jealousy and anger.
If we are always comparing ourselves with others, we will either suffer from ego or jealousy and anger.
When we look at some people and think they are not as good
as us, financially, socially, idealistically or for whatever reason, we become
egotistic.
When we see people who are, in some
ways, better than us, we become jealous. We may even become angry at our-self.
Either way it’s not good.
Constantly comparing our-self with others is not a healthy habit.

Though, looking up to someone as a role
model with positive attitude is quite different.
Striving to improve ourselves, by learning from others, without comparing or having negative feelings towards others or one's own-self, is the way to success.
