The Footsteps

Do not just follow in the footsteps of the wise and enlightened ones.
They carved their path according to their conditions and circumstances. 
Our conditions may not be the same.
Our skills and capabilities may not be the same.
Our starting point might be different also. 

The important thing is to seek what they sought -
and to achieve what they achieved.
To experience the unknown and the unexplainable Truth as they did.
The goal is not to compete - 
but to reach the destination.
