दुनिया में हर काम की तदबीर बदलती रहती है

लगता है  इंसान की  तक़दीर बदलती रहती है 

आती जाती रहती हैं 'राजन' ये शान और शोहरतें 

शीशा रहता है वही - तस्वीर बदलती रहती है

Duniya mein har kaam kee Tadbeer badaltee rehti hai 

Lagtaa hai insaan kee Taqdeer badaltee rehti hai  

Aati jaati rehti hain 'Rajan' ye Shaan aur Shoharten 

Sheeshaa rehta hai vahi Tasveer badaltee rehti hai

The style and ways of working keep changing with time

It seems that a person’s destiny also keeps changing. 

Fame and glory often come and go, says Rajan 

The mirror remains the same — but the reflection keeps changing.

Naam letay hain vo (They mention the name with....)

Naam letay hain vo aakhir kyon dushnaam say  (Disdain)

Jin say hum milay hamesha Ehtiraam say    (Respectfully)

Beqaraari me na aayi neend raat bhar

Dil udaas tha bahut hee kal ki sham say 

Jab muqablaa nahin mera kisi kay saath

Kyon hasad hai phir bhi unko meray naam say

                 (Envy)

Ab karoon gila agar to kis tarah karoon

Gham diye hain us nay kitnay Ehtiraam say

Be-khudi me chaak ho gayaa tha pairhan

See raha hoon ab baday hee Ehtimaam say 

                                                    (Carefully)

Gar buraa karay koyi to bakhsh do usay

Kya milega tum ko aakhir intekaam say

Kal jo phirtay thay yahan darvesh ki tarah

Aaj chal rahay hain kitnay Ehtishaam say

Kyon nazar rakhtay ho doosron kay kaam par

Kaam rakhna chahiye bus apnay kaam say 

Seekh len agar hunar ham beniyaazi ka  (Detachment)

Zindgi guzregi yaaro phir aaraam say 

Chhod day Maalik pay apni zindgi ki dor 

Hongay maslay hal usi kay intezaam say

Sach na mil sakega padhnay aur sunanay say

Maarfat milegi  Rooh kay  ilhaam say

Why do they utter my name with disdain,
Those with whom I always meet with honor and respect?

Restless through the night, I could not sleep —
My heart was heavy and sad since yesterday evening.

When I contend with no one, seek no acclaim,
Why do they feel envy at the mention of my name?

And how can I complain to them — in which way?
For they gave me sorrow too — with courtesy and grace.

In my heedlessness, my garment was torn apart.
Now I am trying to mend it with great care and caution.

If someone wrongs you, forgive and let it be
What will you truly gain by taking revenge?

Those I once saw humble and wandering like beggars,
Now roam in splendor —adorned with pride and preen.

Why do you keep an eye on what others do?

One should mind only one’s own affairs.

If we could learn the skill of calm detachment,

Then life, my friends, would flow with ease and in peace. 

Surrender the reins of your life to the Master (of the universe)
All troubles will dissolve by His divine arrangements.

Truth cannot be found merely by reading, studying, or listening,
It dawns within as realization — through the soul’s awakening and stirring.

All the grandeur and splendor of this world are false & fleeting;

O Rajan, now let your heart dissolve in the love and glory of All-pervading Ram.

बेक़रारी में न आई नींद रात भर 

दिल उदास था बहुत ही कल की शाम से  

जब मुक़ाबला नहीं मेरा किसी के साथ

क्यों हसद है फिर भी उनको मेरे नाम से

अब करुं  गिला अगर तो किस तरह करुं 

ग़म दिए हैं उसने कितने एहतिराम से

                             (आदर-सत्कार से)

बेख़ुदी में चाक हो गया था पैरहन 

सी रहा हूँ अब बड़े ही एहतिमाम से 

                                  (सावधानी से)

गर बुरा करे कुई तो बख़्श दो उसे 

क्या मिलेगा तुम को आख़िर इंतकाम से 

कल जो फिरते थे यहां दरवेश की तरह 

आज चल रहे हैं  कितने एहतिशाम से 

                                    (शान शौकत से) 

क्यों नज़र रखते हैं दूसरों  के काम पर 

काम रखना चाहिए बस अपने काम से 

सीख लें अगर हुनर हम बेनियाज़ी का   (अनासक्ति)

ज़िंदगी गुज़रेगी यारो फिर आराम से 

छोड़ दे मालिक पे अपनी ज़िंदगी की डोर 

होंगे मसले हल उसी के इंतज़ाम से 

सच न मिल सकेगा पढ़ने और सुनने से 

मारफ़त मिलेगी रुह के इल्हाम से

विचार ही पहचान बनें तो अच्छा है

मेरे शब्द और मेरे विचार ही मेरी पहचान बनें तो अच्छा है।
चेहरे का क्या है - 
वो तो समय के साथ बदलता ही रहता है 
और एक दिन शरीर के साथ ही मिट भी जाएगा 

लेकिन शब्द और विचार लोगों के हृदय में ज़िंदा रहेंगे 

इसलिए - मेरे विचार ही मेरी पहचान बनें तो अच्छा है।

Thoughts should become true identity

It would be better if my words and my thoughts became my true identity.
What is there in the face — it keeps changing with time.
And one day, it will vanish along with the body. 

But words and thoughts will remain alive in people’s hearts. 
Therefore, it's better if my thoughts and words become my identity.

ज्योतिरात्मनि नान्यत्र (प्रकाश आपके अंदर ही है)

                ज्योतिरात्मनि नान्यत्र
       (महाभारत शान्तिपर्व 326/32)

अर्थ :
प्रकाश आपके अपने अंदर है - अन्यत्र नहीं 
अर्थात बाहर किसी और जगह पर नहीं 

महाभारत के विद्वान लेखक और महान ऋषि कहते हैं कि प्रकाश का पुंज कहीं बाहर या किसी और जगह पर नहीं है।

यह आपके भीतर ही है।

इसलिए, प्रकाश - सुख और शांति को बाहर या किसी अन्य स्थान पर नहीं, बल्कि अपने भीतर ही खोजना चाहिए। 

दूसरों से प्रेरणा तो मिल सकती है - पथ प्रदर्शन तो मिल सकता है 

लेकिन अंततः तो स्वयं अपने अंदर ही झाँक कर - स्वयं का निरपेक्ष निरीक्षण करके सत्यमार्ग पर आगे बढ़ने का प्रयास करने से ही जीवन कल्याणमयी हो सकता है।

Jyotir-Aatmni (Light is within the Self)

              "Jyotir-Aatmni Na-Anyatra"
       (Mahabharata - Shanti Parva 326/32)

Meaning:
The light is within your own self — not elsewhere.

The great sage and learned author of the Mahabharat proclaims that the ray of light is not to be found outside or in any other place.
It is within you.

Therefore, light—happiness and peace—should not be sought externally, or outside.
It should be discovered within ourselves.
Inspiration and guidance may indeed come from others.
Ultimately, it is only by turning inward, observing ourselves objectively with honesty, and striving to walk the path of truth that life attains true fulfillment and prosperity.

आईना ये मुझसे रोज़ कहता है

आईना ये मुझसे रोज़ कहता है

अक़्स तेरा क्यों बदलता रहता है

उम्र है कि रोज़ ढ़लती जाती है

रोज़ ही चेहरा बदलता रहता है

इक मुकाम पे कहाँ ये रुकता है 

ज़ीस्त का दरिया तो बहता रहता है

जिस्म और रुह का रिश्ता है क्या 

किस तरह बनता है कैसे मिटता है 

कौन आता है - कहां से आता है 

जन्म है किसका ये कौन मरता है

है यही विधान क़ुदरत का यहां 

बीजते हैं जो वही तो मिलता है 

ज्वार भाटा है ये खेल शोहरत का 

आज चढ़ता है तो कल उतरता है 

डूब जाता है वो सूरज शाम को  

सुबह दम जो शान से निकलता है  

मर्ज़े -दिल की कुछ दवा नहीं मिलती

Every day, the mirror asks me 

Why does your image keep changing?

The age keeps fading day by day,

So does the face - it keeps changing every day.

Where does it ever pause, this journey’s flow?

The river of life keeps moving — it never slows.

What is this bond between body and soul?

How is it formed — and how does it dissolve?

Who comes (into the world)— and from where do they come?

Who takes birth — and who is the one who ceases to survive?

Such is the law of Nature’s design —

We reap exactly what we sow in time.

This fame and glory are like ocean tides 

High today, and tomorrow it subsides.

It sinks down quietly in the evening

That sun which rises in majestic pride in the morning 

No cure exists for the heart’s deep pain 

Where and when was love ever tamed?

Whenever I find myself close to you —

Says ‘Rajan’ - There is a bliss in the heart like a sweet intoxication.

Happy Deepavali

Diwali, or Deepavali, is one of India’s most significant cultural festivals, celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm all over the world. 

It marks a time when streets glow with lights, homes radiate warmth, and hearts are filled with hope and joy. 

Followers of all major Indian religions—such as Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains—associate this day with unique and notable events from their own religious histories, each offering a distinct spiritual or historical reason for celebrating this festival of lights and happiness.

Beyond illuminating homes, shops, and workplaces with diyas (small oil lamps) - beyond the external brightness - Diwali is also associated with renewal and transformation by discarding the old and welcoming the new. People symbolically discard the old clothes, furniture, and personal belongings and replace them with new ones. Renovating and painting homes, purchasing new houses or vehicles, and upgrading household items are all common practices leading up to Diwali - acts that reflect a desire to refresh both surroundings and spirit..

Philosophers and intellectuals, however, view these traditions symbolically and interpret them on a deeper level. 

They interpret Diwali as an opportunity to cast off outdated beliefs and dogmas, and to embrace new, practical, and uplifting ideas - 

To light the lamps of Gyana —knowledge—to dispel the darkness of ignorance and to let the inner light guide toward truth, harmony, and wisdom.

  

As this beautiful and famous Vedic prayer says:

          "Asato ma, Sad Gamaya 

           Tamso ma, Jyotir Gamaya 

           Mrityur ma - Amritam Gamaya"

Meaning:

Lead me from unreal to Real

From darkness to light - from ignorance to knowledge and wisdom -

And from death to immortality.

Lord Buddha said:

                     Appo Deepo Bhava

Be your own lamp - your own light.

How long will you be able to walk in someone else's light? He asked.

So be your own light - light the lamp of Gyana in your heart. 

May we all follow the above great teachings from the Vedas, Lord Buddha, and other holy scriptures and illuminate our minds and move toward truth, harmony, and wisdom.

शुभ दीपावली

दिवाली या दीपावली, भारत के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक त्योहारों में से एक है, जिसे दुनिया भर में अपार हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है।

यह वह समय है जब सड़कें और गलियां रोशनी से जगमगा उठती हैं, घर गर्मजोशी  और मन आशा और खुशी से भर जाते हैं।

सभी प्रमुख भारतीय धर्मों के अनुयायी—जैसे हिंदू, सिख और जैन—इस दिन को अपने-अपने धार्मिक इतिहास की किसी महत्वपूर्ण एवं उल्लेखनीय घटनाओं से जोड़ कर  प्रकाश और प्रसन्नता के इस त्योहार को मनाने के लिए अपना ही एक अलग अथवा विशिष्ट आध्यात्मिक या ऐतिहासिक कारण प्रस्तुत करते हैं।

घरों, दुकानों और कार्यस्थलों को दीयों अथवा दीपकों से प्रकाशित करने और बाहरी चमक दमक से परे - दिवाली का त्यौहार 'पुराने' को त्यागकर 'नए' का स्वागत करने - एवं नवीनीकरण और परिवर्तन से भी जुड़ा हुआ है। 

लोग प्रतीकात्मक रुप से पुराने कपड़े, फर्नीचर तथा अन्य पुराने सामान को त्यागकर नए ले आते हैं। दिवाली से पहले घरों की मरम्मत और रंग-रोगन, नए घर या वाहन खरीदना, और घरेलू सामानों को नया रुप रंग देना इत्यादि सभी सामान्य प्रथाएँ हैं - ये ऐसे कार्य हैं जो परिवेश और आत्मा दोनों को तरोताज़ा करने की इच्छा को दर्शाते हैं।

लेकिन दार्शनिक और बुद्धिजीवी लोग इन परंपराओं को प्रतीकात्मक रुप से देखते हैं और अलग तरीके से उनकी व्याख्या करते हैं।

वे दिवाली को पुरानी रुढ़िवादी धारणाओं को त्यागने और नए व्यावहारिक और उत्थानकारी एवं प्रगतिशील विचारों को अपनाने के अवसर के रुप में दर्शाते हैं। 

अंतर्मन  में ज्ञान के दीप जलाने, अज्ञान के अंधकार को दूर करने  - और आंतरिक प्रकाश के द्वारा सत्य, सद्भाव और ज्ञान की ओर मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं।

प्रचीन वेदों में एक अति सुंदर एवं प्रसिद्ध प्रार्थना है:

"असतो मा सद् गमय - तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय - मृत्युर्मा अमृतं गमय"

अर्थात :

असत्य से सत्य की ओर 

अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर - अज्ञान से ज्ञान और बुद्धि की ओर - और मृत्यु से अमरता की ओर।

भगवान बुद्ध ने भी कहा था :  "अप्पो दीपो भव"

अर्थात अपना दीपक स्वयं बनो 

कब तक किसी और के प्रकाश में चल पाओगे? 

इसलिए अपना प्रकाश स्वयं बनो - अपने हृदय में ज्ञान का दीपक जलाओ।

हम सभी मिल कर वेदों शास्त्रों एवं भगवान बुद्ध तथा अन्य धर्म ग्रंथों की उपरोक्त महान शिक्षाओं का पालन करने - अपने मन को प्रकाशित करने तथा सत्य, सद्भाव और ज्ञान की ओर आगे बढ़ने का प्रयास करें ।

इन्सान की चाहत Human's wish

इन्सान की चाहत है कि उड़ने को पर मिलें   

और पक्षी चाहते हैं कि रहने को घर मिलें

Insaan kee chaahat hai ki udnay ko par milen 

Aur pakshi chahtay hain ki rehnay ko ghar milen

English translation

Humans long for wings to fly,

While birds wish for a nest to live in. 

कामना रुपी अतृप्त अग्नि

                  आवृतं ज्ञानमेतेन ज्ञानिनो नित्यवैरिणा |

                  कामरुपेण कौन्तेय दुष्पूरेणानलेन च || 

                                           (भगवद् गीता 3: 39)

"हे कौन्तेय (कुंतीपुत्र अर्जुन), ज्ञान इस अतृप्त इच्छाओं रुपी शाश्वत शत्रु से ढका रहता  है - इसे जितना अधिक ईंधन दिया जाए , यह उतनी ही अधिक तीव्रता से प्रज्वल्लित होती है।"

प्राय विवेकशील ज्ञानियों एवं संतों का ज्ञान भी इस शाश्वत शत्रु के द्वारा ढका हुआ रहता है।  जो अतृप्त इच्छाओं के रुप में आता है, - ऐसी इच्छाएं जो कभी तृप्त नहीं होती और अग्नि की तरह निरंतर जलती रहती हैं। 

इच्छाएं कभी समाप्त नहीं हो सकतीं। 

ये मानव स्वभाव का अंग हैं। इन्हें नियंत्रित तो किया जा सकता है लेकिन समाप्त नहीं किया जा सकता। और न ही इनसे संतुष्टि हो सकती है। 

हम इसे जितना अधिक खिलाते हैं, यह उतनी ही और अधिक भूखी हो जाती हैं- हम जितना अधिक ईंधन देते हैं, यह उतनी ही अधिक प्रचंड रुप से धधकती हैं।

इच्छाएं बिना पेंदे वाले बर्तन की तरह हैं जिस में चाहे कितना ही डालते रहें - यह हमेशा खाली ही रहता है।

हमेशा मन में ये विचार रहता है कि "बस 'थोड़ा सा और' मिल जाए, तो जीवन सुखी हो जाएगा।"

लेकिन वह "थोड़ा सा और" कभी भी खत्म नहीं होता।

यह हमेशा एक कदम आगे रहता है - हमेशा हमारी पहुँच से बाहर।

प्राचीन बुद्धिजीवी विद्वान, ज्ञानी एवं गुरुजन इस बात को अच्छी तरह जानते थे।

इसीलिए, भगवान बुद्ध ने कहा था कि तृष्णा ही सभी दुखों का मूल है।"

भगवान कृष्ण कहते हैं:

"इच्छा एक कभी न बुझने वाली अग्नि की तरह है - जो अनंत काल तक जलती रहती है और कभी संतुष्ट नहीं होती।"

सभी धर्म ग्रन्थ हमें चेतावनी देते हैं:

      " तृष्णा विरले की ही बूझे 

        लाख करोड़ी बंध न बांधे परे परेरी सूझे "

लाखों करोड़ों या अरबों भी हमारी और अधिक पाने की भूख को शांत नहीं कर सकते, और न ही उसे रोक सकते हैं।

        "आशा तृष्णा न मरी - मर मर गए शरीर"

हम हमेशा और अधिक पाने की चाहना रखते हैं। न केवल और अधिक धन एवं संपत्ति, बल्कि और अधिक शक्ति और अधिकार प्राप्त करने तथा अन्य लोगों पर नियंत्रण रखने की इच्छा भी बढ़ती रहती है। 

ऐसी इच्छाएँ ब्रह्मज्ञानियों के मन पर भी हावी हो जाती हैं और उन्हें अपनी प्रभुता और महिमा मंडन और संतुष्टि के लिए लुभाती हैं।

सच्ची शांति हर प्रकार की सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा कर लेने से नहीं  - बल्कि उनके सही स्वरुप को समझने और उन्हें नियंत्रण में रखने से ही प्राप्त हो सकती है।

सहजता और सरलता से ही जीवन में संतोष और आनंद आ सकता है - असीमित धन-संपत्ति और वैभव अर्जित करने से नहीं।

जितना हो सके इच्छाओं का त्याग करने और ईश्वर की ओर उन्मुख होने से ही मन में परमानंद का भाव आ सकता है और जीवन सार्थक हो सकता है।

          Kamrupen Kaunteya Dushpurena analen cha
                                    (Bhagavad Geeta 3: 39)

"O Kaunteya (Arjun, son of Kunti), Gyan is covered by this eternal enemy — the insatiable desire, which is never satisfied and burns like fire. 

The more fuel you give, the stronger it burns.”

The knowledge of even the most discerning Gyanis / Saints gets covered by this perpetual enemy that comes in the form of insatiable desire, which is never satisfied and continually burns like fire.
Desire, by its nature, is never content. 

The more we feed it, the hungrier it becomes — the more fuel we give, the more fiercely it blazes.

Desire is like a vessel without a bottom —
No matter how much we pour into it, it always feels empty.
It's like a whisper in the ear, "If I get just a little more, I’ll be happy."
But that “little more” never ends.
It always keeps moving another step ahead - always out of reach.

The ancient masters knew this well.
Therefore, Buddha said, 
"Craving is the root of all suffering."

Lord Krishna says:
“Desire is an insatiable fire — it consumes endlessly and is never satisfied.”

The holy scriptures warn us:
“Lakh karori bandh na baandhay - paray pareri soojhay”
Even millions or billions cannot satisfy our hunger for more, and put a stop to it. 

We always want more and more and more. Not only in terms of wealth or possessions, but also in terms of power and authority, and having control over others.

Such desires overpower the discernment of even the Brahm Gyanis and tempt them for their own gratification.
True peace begins not by fulfilling every desire, but by understanding their nature — and letting them go. 
It’s the Simplicity that brings contentment and joy - not acquiring and collecting unlimited wealth or possessions.
Giving up as much as possible and turning toward the divine is what brings joy and bliss.
